I'll Give You My Life (OLD)

Chapter One

-Beeping noises-

"Sasuke... I'm sorry. You're the last on the list... but you won't make it unless you get it within a three months. I suggest you plan out your will now." Shizune failed at resisting the tears that began spilling.

Sasuke felt his heart stop and his life flash before his eyes. 'Is this really it? Only living to fifteen? Not being able to see my wife at home and children playing freely in the garden?' He felt himself crying.

"I'm sorry, Sasuke... I wish I could help." She sat on the side of his bed and wiped her tears, resting a hand on Sasuke's.

'Hn. I wonder if anyone cares. If anyone will once I die or if they'll continue acting like I never existed?' Sasuke thought and immediately felt a lump in his throat.

Naruto cried happily as he got the news he was cured of his cancer. He couldn't help but stand and hug the doctor tightly as he sobbed.

"Thank you!" He cried.

Now, two months later, Sasuke laid ill in his hospital bed and Naruto pranced healthily around his apartment.

Naruto still got monthly check ups from his doctor. He heard from his nurse about a boy named Uchiha Sasuke. He couldn't help but take an interest in the boy.

'If it wasn't for my donor... I wouldn't be here... In a way, we're alike.' Naruto thought to himself and told his guardian, Iruka, that he was going out.

He arrived at the hospital and went to the front desk.

An older lady greeted him, "Hello. Check up, emergency, or a visit?"

"Visit."

"To whom?"

"Uchiha Sasuke."

She smiled, "He doesn't get many. Im sure he'll be glad you see you."

The lady led Naruto to Sasuke's hospital room.

"Sasuke, you have a visiter." She knocked and let Naruto in. "Before you leave, check out at the front desk."

She then walked away leaving the blonde and raven in an awkward silence. Naruto decided to break it.

"M-my nurse told me about you... I, uh, just wanted to see if you were alright." Naruto said.

"Why are you worried? You don't even know me. I don't know you."

"I'm just worried because just a month ago I was in your state." Naruto bit his lip and continued. "But it was cancer in one of my kidneys."

Sasuke nodded and motioned to a chair. "You can stay if you want. You don't have to though."

Naruto smiled and sat in the chair.

"So what us your name anyway?" Sasuke asked and looked over at Naruto.

"Uzumaki Naruto." He stated.

A light conversation kept going until visiting hours were up. Naruto and Sasuke had arranged for the blonde to come back tomorrow.

Naruto felt an unfamiliar feeling in his chest, 'Heart attack?' He thought but was brought with more questions as it went away.

So I got this idea from a SasuNaru AMV I watched. (Can't remember the name to save my life >_<) But here's the first chapter. Please tell me what you think of it.
