Apparently my mom doesn't like me wearing "guy clothes". When I said I prefer basketball shorts she said "it'll be hard to find basketball shorts that aren't "boy" shorts" and she doesn't want me to "violate the new dress code and that I already have PE pants." The dress code doesn't say anything about girls not wearing basketball shorts.
Hell now you can wear hats as long as it doesn't block your face. And I'm not going to wear the shorts for PE, I'm wearing them because they make me feel better about myself. She says she wants the best for me but the "best for me" is to say I look homeless and dirty when I wear what I like and say I have a nice ass when I wear shorts
