The first person I met that was part of LGBTQ+ was my stepmom's friend. I'll call her Y and I will call my stepmom A. Y was in a relationship at the time and she was trying to get pregnant. The one issue is that they were both girls. A was going with Y to help her, bringing me to hang out with some of the other kids and play with the ferrets. I don't remember much but I didn't meet anyone else of the LGBTQ+ until 6th grade.
