I saw you dance today Daisy.
I never knew you danced.
You were in the school gym late in the evening.
I don't know how you got in, because the school should have been locked.
But then, you're probably wondering why I was there.
I had to get away from home.
The fighting was just too much.
Hailey is sleeping over at her friend's house.
I wonder why you weren't at home snuggled with your family watching a film.
Your dancing was beautiful.
It was like a mix of classical ballet and contemporary or whatever it's called.
You saw me not long after I got in, but don't stop until your song ended and you needed water.
And when you tipped your head back to drink, your sleeve fell.
And there were bright red cuts.
I still haven't stopped crying.
I know I means I'm weak, but I can't seem to stop.
