I passed Mum a copy of the magazine. She glanced at the article title, checked the byline and started reading.
'Fascinating,' she said at last.
'Got paid £100 for that.'
'No!' She looked again at the byline.
'Pseudonym,' I smirked. She'd always refused to read my writing. Small victory but I'll take it.
