It was a regular day in Luthra house. Preeta had already arrived and was doing dadi's treatment.
Suddenly karan came in jumping like anything and called everyone to the hall.
Sameer:Bhai, Aapne hume bulaaya?
Preeta: Haan Karan, kya hua, bade khush dikh rahe ho
Karan:Dil thaam ke baithiye... Ek aisi khabar aapke saamne aane wali hai jisse aap log uchalne lagenge.
He switches on the tv and puts on the news channel which flashes the headlines
"The star cricketer, Karan Luthra,  selected for World Cup as the captain of the Indian team"
Everyone gets happy hearing this

Karan:Mein South Africa ja raha hoon..( He jumps and hugs Rishab) tu dekhna mein tera sapna zaroor poora karoonga
Rishab:Mujhe poora bharosa hai tu aisa zaroor karega
Preeta:Congratulations Karan!!
Karan goes and hugs Preeta
Karan whispers:Maine bola tha na ki tum mere liye bohot lucky ho!!
Preeta: Shaayad par yeh tumhari khud ki mehnat ki wajah se hai ki tum aaj iss mukaam pe ho.
They break the hug and Preeta blinks her eyes.
All congratulate him.
Rakhi: Puttar, Tujhe kab nikalna hai?
Karan:Mom, parso subah subah
Kal kuch shopping karni padegi jaane se pehle
Kritika : Toh theek hai,  hum sab kal shopping pe chalte hain. Preeta tum bhi chalo na,  please?
Preeta: Sure!! Par Abhi mein nikalti hoon..mujhe ghar jaldi jaana hai
Karan:Arre par main toh abhi aaya hoon.. Mujhe packing mein toh madad karti jao
Preeta:Mein kal aake kar doongi na.. Promise
Rakhi:Par puttar,  tu kabhi itni jaldi ghar nahi jaati, aaj kuch hai kya?
Preeta: Nahi Rakhi aunty,  woh actually aaj subah subah hi Dadi, Janki aunty aur Srishti Bhopal gaye hain ek mahine ke liye  ek shaadi ke liye.. Toh mein ghar par akele hoon aur ghar ka saaman bhi lena hai toh usme late ho jaayega..toh maine socha andhera hone se pehle ghar pahunch jaun.
Karan : (tensed) Arre par tum ghar par akele kaise manage karogi... Koi problem ho gayi toh?
Rakhi: Haan preeta..Raat ko akele..Safe nahi hai beta.. Tu ek kaam kar apna saaman yahan le aa aur ek mahine tak yahin ruk ja
Preeta:Iski koi zarurat nahi hai aunty.. Mein manage kar loongi
Kareena:Nahi beta.. Tum yahin aa jao... Warna raat bhar sabko tumhari tension lagi rahegi
Preeta:Par
Karan:Koi par war nahi.. Mein koi risk nahi le sakta tumhare saath... Tum chup chaap chalo tumhare samaan le aate hain
Preeta:Karan iski
Karan angrily glared her
Preeta:(makes a crybaby face) Aise mat ghooro..dar lagta hai... Car ke paas tumhara wait kar rahi hoon
Everyone giggled
Karan smiled widely by the thought of preeta staying in his house for a month but it faded away when he realized that he was going the day after.
Sameer on the other hand was sad hearing about srishti but happy for Karan
Preeran go to the arora house and bring her clothes and important items to luthra house. Karan helps preeta in settling luggage in her room.
Karan:Lo hogaya
Preeta:Thank you!! (realizes something) Ek  minute tumne practice se aake kuch nahi khaya na... Tumhe bhook lagi hogi.. Main kuch leke aati hoon
Karan smiled at her care
Preeta went to the kitchen and came back with Rajma Chawal.
Karan:Yeh to mera favorite hai.. Tumne banaya?
Preeta: Pata hai isliye toh banaya
Karan takes a bite: Yaar.. Tum kaise itna achha khaana bana leti ho
Preeta smiles:Ab tum ise khaake freshen up ho jao fir mein tumhaari packing mein help kar doongi
Karan:okay.
He goes and freshens up and decides to take out all the clothes so that he can help Preeta
But it turned out to be a total mess.
Preeta entered his room and saw him sleeping in the suitcase.
She was shocked seeing the condition of the room
Preeta : Karan yeh sab..
Karan gets up and sees her:Maine socha tumhaari madad kar doon.. Sorry
Preeta melts seeing his face
Preeta:Achha theek hai ab hato.. Mujhe pack karne do
After sometime, Preeta finished the packing and sat on the bed tired, she did not realize when she went to sleep. Karan who had gone to drink water,came back and saw her sleeping. He smiled and picked her in his arms and went to her room and make her lay there. He put the duvet on her and left to his room.
Next morning,
All youngsters had breakfast and left for shopping.
They reached the mall and divided themselves in groups
Karan-Preeta
Kritika-Roo
Rishab-Sameer.
Preeta helped in choosing karan's clothes and he took all the clothes of preeta's choice. They all, after shopping, gathered at the food court, had something and left for luthra house.
They were all tired and went to sleep.
