After 2 months,
Karan was standing outside a room
Completely tensed, with sweat flowing from his head
His hands joined, continuously praying, he was moving from right to left
He moved towards the room and through the window, saw preeta who was lying on the bed
The doctor came out
Karan, looking at her with hope and nervousness was waiting for her answer who had just operated preeta
Doctor : congratulations aapki ek beti hui hai. Maa and beti dono bilkul safe hai
Karan feeling relieved sat on the chair for a minute, with extreme happiness on his face and tears of joy flowing from his eyes
He stood up and ran in preeta's ward
Moving towards preeta slowly looking at her with peace, he sat beside her
Preeta saw him and smiled
He gently kissed her lips and took the baby girl from her hand
His tear fell on the baby's hand
He kissed the baby's hand softly
Preeta smiled looking at him and the baby
Flashback
Karan and preeta were sitting on the bed together
Preeta kept her head on his shoulder : hamare baby ka kya naam hoga?
Karan : umm.. (he thought for a while) kaira (with a bright smile)
Preeta : par agar ladka hua to?
Karan : mujhe to ladki hee chahiye, chotu si, cute si bilkul.. (preeta was waiting for his answer) bilkul alia bhatt jaisi
Preeta looked at him angrily
Karan started laughing
Preeta angrily : tum aliaa bhatt se hee shaadi karlo
She crossed her arms and sat angrily
Karan stood up and went out of the room
Preeta looked at him and the level of her anger rose
Preeta to herself : isse sharam varam nhi aati kya! Kaise chala gaya! Ek baar bhi mujhe manaya nhi. Agar ek baar pyaar se bol deta ki preeta Mai sirf tumse pyar karta hu to kya chala jaata! Pata nahi kaha chala gaya ab
She was talking to herself when karan came there
Karan : kya bol rahi thi?
Preeta started looking on the other side trying to ignore him
Karan was doing something
Preeta secretly saw him
Karan saw her. She again faced in the opposite direction
Karan smiled seeing her
Preeta thought : kya kar raha hai ye
Karan moved towards preeta
He turned her towards him
There was a wall hanging with his and preeta's pics which he had made himself
Preeta took it in her hands
She was surprised
Karan smiled looking at her
Preeta : ye to bahot pyaara hai
Karan took it from her hand and stood up on the bed
He adjusted the wall hanging and came down
Preeta : thank you so much. (her eyes were shining brightly)
Karan side hugged her : baby doll ke liye kuch bhi aur baby girl ke liye bhi
Preeta smiled, both of them looked at her baby bump
Flashback ends
Preeta : kaira. Iska naam kaira hoga
Both of them smiled
