Karan and preeta entered the room which was beautifully decorated with rose petals and candles
Preeta started moving forward and touched the rose vase that was kept there.
She smiled
When she turned around, she saw karan sitting on his knees looking at her with a diamond ring in his hand
Karan : I love you preeta. I really love you. will you marry me? Kya tum mere saath apni puri zindagi bitaana chahogi? Meri workwife se wife ban na chahogi?
Preeta was surprised by the sudden confession
She recalled all her moments with karan. Their closeness, their understanding, her broken state, their trust and their chemistry.
She recalled the last night in which she found herself completely lost
Karan : preeta..
She was still lost in her thoughts and was realising her love for him
Karan stood up disheartened.
Karan : tum ready nhi ho... To koi baat nhi...
Preeta broke her thoughts and immediately hugged him tightly
Karan felt relieved
He hugged her back and caressed her hair
Preeta : I love you too karan
They broke the hug
They both were very happy and immediately kissed passionately
Preeta blushed and ran in the washroom
Karan thought something and smiled : idea
Preeta came out of the washroom and saw one more surprise waiting for her
Karan held her hand : preeta. Kya tum mujhse shaadi karogi?
Preeta nods happyily
(karan had arranged the candles on the floor like a mandap)
They started taking rounds around it
First round
Karan : I promise ki Mai tumhe kabhi bhi, kissi bhi situation mein akela nhi chodunga
Preeta : I promise ki Mai tumhe, tumhare office and tumhare ghar, sabko bahot ache se sambhalungi
Second round
Karan : I promise ki tum jab bhi kahogi, Mai tumhe shopping ke liye lekar jaungi. Phir chaahe Mai busy hu ya nhi, meri tabyat theek ho ya nhi.
Preeta laughs
Preeta : I promise ki Mai hamara favourite TV show tumhare bina kabhi nhi dekhungi. I'll watch it only when you're there with me
Karan laughs
Third round
Karan : I promise to love you in good times and in bad. I promise to put down the toilet seat – and to replace the toilet roll when it’s over and mai hamari anniversary and tumhari birthday date kabhi nhi bhulunga
Preeta laughs
Preeta : I promise to take good pictures to post on social media.
Karan and preeta laughed
Preeta : Arey mazak kar rhi thi. I promise ki har roz tumhare liye tasty tasty khaana banaungi
Karan started laughing
Karan : iska Matlab mujhe roz bhuka rehna padhega?
Preeta angrily : to roz tum khaana bana lena
Karan : kya? (shocked)
Fourth round
Karan : I promise ki tum jo bhi khaana banaogi, wo Mai chup chaap khaa lunga.
Preeta : par khaana to tum banane wale ho na? (teasingly)
Karan : Acha sorry baba. Tum duniya ko best cook ho
Preeta smiled
Similarly, they took the other rounds and vows
Preeta : baaki ki rasmein?
Karan took a rose petal and rubbed it (to take out its colour) and poured some water on it
He filled her hairline
Preeta smiled
Karan took out a black thread which he had kept in his pocked
He adorned it in her neck like a mangalsutra
Karan : aaj se hum dono pati patni hue
Tears of happiness came out of preeta's eyes
Karan wiped them
Karan : abhi ro mat.. Abhi to sabse important cheez baaki hai (teasingly)
Preeta laughed with tears
Screen froze
