when she's all alone
When there's nobody around,
She quietly watches her tears
As they roll over to the ground.
She stays strong in front of them
She stumbles when she walks alone,
She never knew she would become
Just like others whom she had known.
Yes, she's got a rough skin
A face with scratches and marks
My Pain, their mortal sin,
And Who knew tears had salts.
She cries all night and wishes the night never ended,
She breaks and weeps as her pain stays unattended.
She wishes her death and prays to the Lord
As more tears surround her,
her prayers ignored.
She wonders why she's alive with a soul dead,
She can't go back and thinks of what's left ahead.
She survives with her pain and visits her fears
And as she does that,
she simply holds back her tears.
