When I read a story, I feel like I’m somehow a part of it, that I’m one of the main characters, experiencing their life, like in another world, escaping from my prison through each word, feeling what they feel, seeing what they see.
Books are my life, keeping me together during the hardest of times, making me experience things I wouldn’t in the real world.
Sometimes I wish life was a book.
