3rd POV

Everything was oddly quiet as the group that had caused a fuss the previous day in a certain tavern had finally stepped into the adventurers guild.

Many had heard of what had occurred, many didn't care. However, it was news that the party had two beautiful women, a high level familiar, and a man so big that he had to slouch down. That he had taken care of some thugs and drunks without a sweat, that he even broke a great-sword without moving, taking most of the blade into his hand.

All these rumours brought in both the best and worst kind of people. Many would be gunning to party up with them, whether it was because they seemed strong, seemed like easily prey, or just because they wanted their stuff and the women.

But as they stepped inside, they saw the man come in first. He was indeed extraordinarily large, slouched down, and had his left arm hanging limp. His armour seemed to be  strong, his face hidden by what they assumed was a magic item, and a giant Great-sword even for a man of his size, on his back.

One of the girls came in next with the familiar, a grey wolf that was larger then most, easily being bigger than her, though the odd black chain or two was floating beside it. It was striding beside the woman with dark robes on. A metallic mask covering her eyes as her blonde hair rested on her shoulders. She moved elegantly with a soft smile on her face.

The last in was a woman that had a brownish cloak on. A simple outfit consisting of barely, if not any, armour. She had a sword at her side as her dark hair, which was tied up in a pony tail, swayed slightly with every step. She seemed almost disgusted with everyone around her except her companions, and she seemed to be on guard.

Their every move was being watched carefully, and before anyone realized it, they were in front of the receptionists desk. She sweated slightly as she looked up slightly at the giant man before her, even as he was slouched down, he still towered over her.

"...A quest," he told her. And she only tilted her head in confusion.

"E-excuse me?"

"He would like for you to give us a quest," the woman with blonde hair spoke up as she now stood next to him, seemingly almost delighted to be at his side.

"O-oh! Yes! They are right over there," she pointed over toward the board that spanned the entire wall, almost every inch was covered with a paper sheet or two. "You May choose any of them, so long as they fit your rank," she told them.

"We are not familiar with this countries writing, we managed to pick up the language through magic and regular information, though the writing is still a problem," the receptionist seemed to understand, but she continued to speak as she was about to ask a question, "Our leader, Artorias, still has some trouble with both speaking and writing this countries language, so he doesn't speak too often. We are from the country far to the west, a small island, though we left for various reasons," she didn't need to say any.

The receptionist had heard plenty of similar cases, though she wasn't really aware of the island they spoke of, she knew there were many she did not possess information on. Hearing that they left could also be a personal matter, and their privacy was their own. Having trouble with the language of another country was normal.

For the onlookers though, they couldn't help but think of foreigners as some kind of disease, and many were now glaring.

"So, for the time being, please assign us a quest, preferably one that is very difficult and high rewarding," the blonde woman asked the receptionist.

"A-Alright. But you do realize that you are all copper plates, do you not?" She asked a little hesitantly. She was nervous and on edge for the reason of the giant man seeming to stare at her through the small veil of darkness that covered his face. It was impossible to tell where he was actually looking, but she couldn't help but think that it was at her.
