Fiona's pov

I walked back inside the trees and pour Horace a cup of tea, baking careful with the boiling poison in the pot next to it.

He was watching Hugh and The Bastard fight and cheering him on. I sat next to him and wrapped him in my jacket. He quietly sipped his tea and watched Hugh with bright eyes. I too turned to watch the fight. I smiled, how lucky was I? Hugh wouldn't let anyone hurt us.

I sighed contently and rubbed Horace's back, he was still shivering. I was really worried about his weight, he was far to thin for someone of his age, he'd always been tiny, but this was too much, I could wrap my hand around his thigh. Worries about how he was treated and how dangerously small he was were heightened when I remembered he was pregnant, he would be heartbroken if his babies died, even though they came to be by something I couldn't bear thinking about. After all he's been through, I don't think he would survive loosing g them, and it scared me.

I took a deep breath, no Horace wasn't going to die, Hugh and I were going to make sure he gets healthy and happy again, no matter how long it takes.

I glanced back over at him, and to my relief he looked content, drinking his tea and watching Hugh attack Dami.

"Don't kill them yet, my Love!" I called, "I have plans"

Hugh dropped them and they groaned in pain

Horace clapped him hands, Hugh bowed dramatically, which had me giggling. I grew some vines around the unconscious peculiar so they couldn't get away. Then Hugh sat next to me and yawned.

"Well I'm exhausted" he said

Horace seemed to agree. We moved closer to the fire and I grew a carpet of soft moss. Hugh and I were going to sleep together while Horace got his own bed, but in less then an hour he was wriggling between us, trying to get cozy.

He sighed happily and layed there for a couple seconds. Neither Hugh or I touched him out of concern it would make him uncomfortable. He opened one eye and grumbled. When we didn't know how to respond he looked exasperated. He grabbed Hugh's hand and put it around his chest, then he cuddled against me.

"Now please sing me a lullaby and then kiss me goodnight on the forehead or cheek and then wish me sweet dreams."

Hugh cleared his throat and attempted to sing what I think was rockabye baby. Horace was not pleased

"Wait! No lullaby, bedtime story instead please!" He said plugging his ears "one about a knight and a prince and they are so in love and the knight never yells at the prince when he cries and he protects him from anything that could hurt him and doesn't side with evil people that want to hurt his prince, also he kisses him a lot and also they cuddle every night with no inappropriate touching and they are rich and have a big pretty house and a lot of kids and all the kids were made when the prince said yes and so hes excited to have babies and everyone is happy and safe"

Hugh sighed and hugged Horace tighter

"Once upon a time there was a prince and a knight, they loved eachother very much~"

Hughs voice droned on as I rubbed Horace's shoulders. He had a look of longing on his face as he listened highs story and I felt a pang if guilt. Hugh and I should've gone instead of him and Enoch, I love my brother, but he wasn't the brightest, Enoch was horrid for hurting him, but it was us who sent them in the first place. They're too little! We were older we should have gone!

I noticed That Horace had fallen asleep and tucked himself closer to me. Hugh also moves closer to me.

"Fi, I was wondering if you could punish Enoch? I just kicked him, I think you'd be better for it"

I nod and Hugh kissed me "thanks love"

I blush and roll my eyes slowly drifting off to sleep
