Bright lights

Chapter 4

"I can't believe it!" I screamed at Alex as I stepped of the stage

"I know! I don't know what to think, kind of sad it's all over. Kind of looking forward to the next adventure!" Alex smiled back arm still entwined around Mia. They had sold there London flat now and where spending the night at there parents house. I could see them both doing well in LA but I would miss them. We were all going to see them off tomorrow as they caught there one way plane to LA.

Jealousy was killing me here of I hadn't signed up for Up in the air I would have considered heading off to California too. It was lovely seeing the couple settled enough to make there move but I could sort of imagine the future, Alex and Mia becoming Hollywood a-listers, Tom and Jade flying off to live in LA, Finley and Lexi flying off somewhere nice although I couldn't see them in LA. That left me. Just here.

"You will love LA" I smiled across to Alex as for the last time I washed off my tiger tattoo that I had to wear throughout the film.

"The longest I have stayed in California is like a month, bit worried it wouldn't be what it seems" Mia sighed, I could sense her nervousness about leaving her friends and family behind her, she had lived in London since two so she hadn't left her family early like the rest of us who saw the bright lights in our teens.

"Honestly Mia. It will be the best thing that could ever happen to you!" I laughed "maybe with the exception of Alex"

"I guess your right" Mia laughed back. I looked across to where Finley, Lexi and Tom had just walked in through a large wooden door to my left. Jade had been a stunt coordinator on this film to so she was packing up and would join us in our goodbyes soon.

"We should go clubbing tonight" Lexi giggled to the rest of us, she was such a party queen. "Like a farewell to all this and Alex and Mia" she smiled as she looked around the studio which was being demolished around us.

"Will you be coming back for the premiere?" Tom asked bring up a subject no one had thought of.

"Obviously!" Alex laughed he had played the lead role in this film and Mia had taken a large role to.

"Maybe we will all be able to go together? Are you all going?" Tom smiled back

"Yeah" we all replied in chorus

"Jade will come as well I recon" Tom added, well I will be the lonely one then I thought to myself, to be fair it was months away maybe miss perfect would walk into my life before that;unlikely though.

"Yeah I am coming with you Finnny" Lexi smiled leaning over to kiss him, out of all three couples they were the most sort of teenage like. Tom and Jade were mixed they could sometimes be dead serious but sometimes completely mad. Alex and Mia were incredibly serious and dedicated.

"Urr really" Finley joked back

"So what time tonight" I asked keenly

"10?" Lexi replied just as Jade came over to join the group

"Where going out at 10?" She laughed eagerly

"Yeah if you up for it princess" Tom smiled "clubbing to say goodbye to this film and Alex and Mia"

"Well I can't say no to that!" Jade laughed

I was keen to get beck to my flat, I had to clean it up as I have some mates coming round. I was going to the airport tomorrow at 12 so had planned to do it in the morning but if I had a hangover I would hardly feel like it. I had kept my group of friends I had made before I took up acting although somehow they had all become successful and well known to now, Tom and Jade were the only cross over. They just fitted in nice, not to say Alex and Finley wouldn't just hadn't really bothered to be honest.
