In a peaceful day in spring
Birds are signing
Flowers are blooming
Days like these are enchanting
Because kids are walking and smiling.
The path is difficult, Full of oversized grass, Uneven height of soil and between tight spaces of a deep trench where roots of plants are visible.
"Veronica... slow down," Rin said with hard breaths but still has the smile on his face.
"Keep up slowpoke, we're nearly there," Veronica said with excitement.
After a few moments, Rin is curious about where they're headed so he asked:" Where exactly are we going?"
"I can't tell you cause it is a surprise," says Veronica with a childish glee.
"But we've been walking deeper in the forest for hours, We might get lost," Rin says with a worried expression on his face.
"Don't worry Rin, it's still noon... We'll head back before sundown"
"This better be worth it, I can barely see the sun because of these huge trees"
"It is, You won't believe what you'll see"

"How did you got here though, I mean this deep in the forest?"
"Well... I was searching for Adolfo, I followed his footprints."
"Oh, your pet wolf... Isn't it dangerous to own a pure white wolf?"
"Adolfo is still a cub, I'm like his mum... There's nothing to worry about, Rin" Veronica says with reassurance.
"I'm just concerned, Cause it's rare to find someone that has a wild breed pet wolf. What'll happen if he turns to an adult?"
"Even so, I can't leave him in the wild alone... He doesn't have a mother, I'm the only one he has now. I know that I have what it takes to raise him"
"Okay.. What is Adolfo doing in the forest then?"
"Just wandering around, I found him in the spot that I'm going to show you soon"
"Very well then"
While they're walking, Rin noticed a faint of light in the distance.
"Finally! The end of the forest"
"How about we race there and find out what it is, the winner gets 5 silver coins," Veronica said with a huge grin on her face.
"I like the sound of that" Rin says with anticipation.
"Fast Dash!!" Rin immediately run headstart.
"Hey! No fair" Veronica says while catching up.
While they're sprinting to the light, Rin suddenly halt, Astonished by the view he saw.
"Surprise!" Veronica said with full of enthusiasm.
When they left the forest they met a view of a valley filled with rare flowers and green grass. Full of butterflies and a cool wind. And a lone tree on the hill.
