Let's start with the basics, shall we?

My name is Mikayla Jasmine Andersen. I am 16 years old and i live in Miami. My family and I moved here when i was 7. We moved here after my parents got divorced. I barely hear from my dad, but i believe it's actually better like that. My mom does all the parenting and she is doing a great job. I mean she can be harsh at times but she is the best mom i could ask for. When my sister Joanna agreed on moving with us, she brought her boyfriend with her. Tim is like the older brother i never had and even though it took my mom a while to get used to him, she is glad that he's here and making my sister happy after she had a hard time with leaving Dad behind.

There is nothing really too exciting going on in my life. Nothing really rebellious, like drinking, smoking or some kind of parties (my mom would murder me). I'm more the laying around, eating and watching netflix type of person. And fortunately, so is my best friend, Keesha. Don't ask when we actually became best friend, because we both don't really know. We just started talking some day and then we talked every day, found out we had a dang lot in common, then we hung out for a weekend and we were inseparable ever since. Sometimes i feel like she's actually my long lost twin. The only thing that differs us is our appearances and our age (she's a year older and a ton prettier than me) .

She used to live pretty far away from me, which made it kind of difficult to meet up whenever we wanted but ever since she and her family moved in next door, we're together 24/7. One of the best things of our friendship is the fact that we have the same taste in music. Which leads us to 5 seconds of summer.
