A surprise/ start of summer

Trish's POV

I just got home and my mum was standing there with a note she looked nervous.

Trish: mum what's wrong?

Trish's mum: sweetheart I have just gotten a letter from my dad and he is ill so I have to go back to Canada to look after him I know you will be safe because your aunt is close by

Trish: when are you leaving?

Trish's mum: tomorrow morning

Trish: I'll miss you mum

Trish's mum: I will miss you too sweetheart

I dropped my bag down and then I sat on the sofa and my mum followed and she told me what the letter said and what has happened.

Trish's mum: now I want to let you know that you will have your brother visit you every now and again

I sighed I seriously hate my brother he can be violent when he is angry once he hurt me he said it was an "accident" but it was on purpose I knew it my mum didn't know about it well Shawn told me not to tell mum or he will hurt me again.

Trish: ok

Then I walked up the stairs to my bedroom and put my headphones on and the song that was playing was called 'IDGAF by Dua Lipa' I closed my bedroom door and then just as I was about to close my curtains I saw rainbow I took my headphones off and walked onto my balcony.

Trish: what are you doing here?

Jeff: I want to know if you want to come out for a bit?

Trish: you know I can't

Then Jeff climbed up to me and I smiled.

Jeff: why don't we hang out just us two

Trish: what about Matt and Lita?

Jeff: Matt is over at Litas'

Trish: oh

Jeff: so I was wondering do you want to come to the park with me?

Trish: sure

Me and Jeff climbed down from my balcony and we walked to the park together and we were talking about anything and what we will do over the summer.

Jeff: are you gonna go college?

Trish: yup

Jeff: same

We carried on talking about anything that came to our minds.

Jeff's POV

Matt told me he was going over to Litas' but before he did he told me that I should go to Trish's house and ask if she wanted to hang out so I took her to the park and we were just talking about the future and what we will be doing.

*After 2 hours*

We decided to head back to Trish's house since it was getting late.

Trish: we have to be quiet

Jeff: why?

Trish: because my mum is asleep and she has to go back to Canada to look after her dad so I don't want to wake her up

Jeff: ok

*At Trish's house*

We got to Trish's house and we climbed up the balcony since Trish doesn't want to wake her mum up.

Trish: night Jeff

Jeff: night Trish

Trish kissed my cheek and then I climbed down and walked away to my house and I blushed from what Trish just did.

*At Hardyz house*

I got home and saw Matt sitting on the sofa waiting for me to get in I am guessing.

Matt: hey

Jeff: hey

Matt: it is late so what have you been doing

Jeff: all we did was talk and walk through the park

Matt: what did you talk about?

Jeff: only about the future

Matt: what about the future?

Jeff: like what we will do

Matt: oh that sort of stuff

Jeff: pretty much

Matt: what else happened?

Jeff: well we climbed up her balcony

Matt: and?

Jeff: we said night to each other but then she kissed my cheek and then I climbed down from her balcony and walked back here

Matt: you didn't blush in front of her?

Jeff: no

Matt: when will you tell her your feelings

Jeff: I don't know when I will tell her but we don't know what will happen in the future

Matt: true but you have to live for the moment and if you leave it you might lose her

Jeff: I know but we have been friends for a long time and if I asked her out she could say no and she could end our friendship

Matt: never think of the negative stuff Jeff

Jeff: Lita said something similar

Matt: you can ask her out when you are ready but if you truly love her then you will do it soon

Jeff: I know Matt but we will be going separate ways so we won't see each other

Matt: outside of college

Jeff: I know

We carried on talking till it got late and then we went bed.

Trish's POV

I watched Jeff walk away and when he was out of sight I stayed on my balcony for a little bit longer to see the lights through the city then I walked back inside my room and closed the balcony door and closed the curtains and I got ready for bed and sat on my bed with my computer checking the internet then I had a phone convo with Lita.

*Phone convo*

Lita: hey

Trish: hey

Lita: I heard about your hang out with Jeff

Trish: yeah what about it?

Lita: what happened?

Trish: well he came to my house I asked what he was doing here

Lita: what else happened?

Trish: well he climbed up to my balcony

Lita: cliché

Trish: that's Jeff for you

Lita: true

Trish: but all we did was walk in the park and we just talked about our future and how things will be when split ways

Lita: wait what do you mean by split ways?

Trish: Lita I am going to a different college to you three

Lita: what? You can't

Trish: I am sorry this was all planned out before we broke up and before I was friends with you

Lita: I am gonna miss you

Trish: I will miss you too

Lita: I have to go

Trish: night Lita

Lita: night Trish

Then when it got late I turned my computer off then I got changed into a pair of dark blue shorts and a plain white crop top and I put my hair in a ponytail and got in bed and turned my light off and fell asleep.
