Midoriya and Todoroki were heading to the UA dorms when the dual haired boy spoke.
"Why did you do that, Midoriya?" The shorter boy looked at the taller boy and chuckled.
"I'm not going to stand by and listen to your abuse stories without doing anything. If it continues then you'll be staying with me whether you like it or not." Izuku said.
"It's really not a problem, I'm used to it."
"That's the issue! The fact that you've grown accustomed to it isn't okay." Midoriya yelled. Shouto flinched slightly, which Midoriya easily seen. A sigh escaped Izuku's lips, Todoroki was shaking.
"I... I'm sorry Midoriya... I knew I shouldn't have told you anything in the first place... I knew you'd be upset."
"Todoroki, it's not that I'm mad... I mean, I am but I'm not mad at you. I'm just disappointed that you're used to it. I'm more disappointed in myself for not doing anything sooner." Midoriya paused for a moment and walked closer to the taller male. "Hey, look at me." Shouto did as instructed and looked at the smaller male, his eyes dull.
"I'm glad you told me. You shouldn't have to go through that alone." Midoriya smiled at the taller boy and ruffled his hair, making it a mess. Shouto smiled lightly and giggled quietly.
"That was really cute." Izuku said, his smile getting bigger. The four words that exited Izuku's mouth caused Shouto to turn bright red.
"L-Let's get to the dorms... It's getting dark and I never did feel safe outside at night." Shouto said quietly. Midoriya only chuckled.
"You'll be okay, I'll protect you... But you are right, let's get going." And with that, the two walked faster to the dorms.
