The doctor said it wasn't my water that it was probably pee but apparently that happens. Still gross tho
"You sure you're okay" Matty said sitting with me on the couch after we home while Dom was out talking with his manager.
"Were fine" I said rubbing my belly "just a false alarm" I laughed softly
"So you're really doing this, the whole Dominic situation?" He asked rubbing the back of his neck
"I love him, and he loves me and Tyson" I smiled
"But he's young and wild, and what if he has you do something crazy" Matty asked seriously
"Matthew, no one is every gonna have me do anything as crazy as robbing a store and shooting someone" I answered softly
"I'm sorry" he said getting up and going to leave
"Matty" I said softly "its okay, I agreed to do it, I knew the risks" I said
Suddenly mattys lips were on mine
I pulled away
"I can't" I shook my head
"Why not" he pleaded. "You're my girl" he cooed
And he knew he had me wrapped around his finger, putty in his hands when he said that.
*knock knock*
"Police" a voice sounded from behind the door
I opened it
"Evening ma'am I'm looking for GrayceLynn" the officer said
"That's me" I nodded
"Ma'am you're gonna have to come with us, do you know a man by the name of Erik?" The officer said
"That's my father, what's happened?" I asked leaning back into matty for support
"Ma'am, he attacked a young man last seen leaving this residence, he also had a detailed plan to harm you" the officer spoke
"The young man, crazy hair, pink socks?" Matty asked and the office nodded.
"I'm afraid so, were trying to notify next of Kin" he said
"That's me! Well I'm his girlfriend" I shouted
"Ma'am I need you to come down and come with me" the officer said. I turned toward matty
"Go poppet ill get George and be right behind you" matty said reassuring me.
The car ride to the station was quiet as my mind faced with what had happen. They had me positively identify my father as the perpetrator. Then they took me to the hospital to see Dom
"Dom" I said loudly rushing to his bedside
"Dom?" I said again but no response
"Hi, I'm Dr. Lee, he's in a coma, he was stabbed twice pretty deeply and lost some blood, so the coma is best for his body to rest and repair itself, there's no telling when he'll wake up but he can still hear you, so don't be scared to talk to him" the Dr said as he patted my back and walked out of the room
I sat by Dom
"I'm so fucking sorry, you don't deserve this, you're so damn innocent in all this. Dom please stay with me. For Tyson. He needs his dad. And I. I need you, you've been my best friend for so long, life doesn't mean anything without you. Dominic please" I said.
The tears fell as I layed my head against him and curled up in the bed beside him.
"I can't do this without my best friend" I said before falling asleep
I woke up to arms tightly around me and I looked up
"Can't get rid of me that easily love" Dom smilied his goofy smile
"Gracie!" A voice shouted running in the room
and there in the doorway stood some one I hadn't planned on seeing
