"He grabbed my hand and squinted at me from his side of the picnic table the sun directly beaming into his eyes ashing his cigarette and making a face as he exhaled his smoke.

"I love you" he smiled.

I felt my cheeks heat up as I looked at his perfect form before me. "I love you too"

I snapped back to reality as Tati lugged a bigger box into our new apartment. "Would it kill you to shut the damn laptop, reality calls, and it's saying that you have to help your sister carry two truckloads of boxes up five flights of stairs, I mean seriously Kaymbree you couldn't have picked a building with an elevator?"

I rolled my eyes subtly so she wouldn't get annoyed and stop helping me, stubborn kid. "I'm almost done with this chapter"

"You were typing on that thing our whole flight, give it a rest, you're just going to delete it all in a month and start over anyways" she gave me a pointed look.

That one stung, but she's right. I closed my laptop and pushed myself up from the breakfast bar in the kitchen that over looked the city, my breakfast bar. I smiled at the new setting before us as I passed my sister in the doorway.

"You're fucking weird"

I walked past her and rounded the corner to the stairway. I might as well give up now considering every time I try to start writing a book something always gets in the way. I write about love and how unapologetically simple it is when I've never truly felt the emotion myself. Maybe that's my problem, every time I get to a certain point in a book I lose interest and forget about it and wait until I come up with a new story in my head, but going back and thinking about it every time I've lost interest in a book it's been because
