I knew I would disappoint you,
as I often do myself.
I knew we would find ourselves here, bruised
presenting each other with what's left.
Grace I suggest you have,
a hypocrite at her finest.
I knew we were both broken from the start
but from my view, I can't see how bad mine is.
I will never show you all of me
& baby we're too much a like.
So we'll pull each other apart at our seams,
and both pretend we're alright.
