(Third Person POV)

Misaki was huddling in a corner, playing an otome game.

"Is it normal to have all of them hate you?" She mumbled to herself. She wasn't hurt that they hated her, she was just...scared.

Aomine had grabbed her by the collar yesterday.

She shivered at the thought of it happening again. It would reveal her secret.

She decided it was time to approach the problem by going to Seijuro.

"Seijuro! Just explain to me!" She demanded.

He stared at her with his red and gold heterochromatic eyes.

She looked back with her visible red eye.

"I told you to remember on your own." He said, looking back at the shogi board.

"That's why I'm asking you. I can't remember!" Misaki said, walking over to Seijuro's side.

"No." He replied, calmly.

Misaki clenched her fist in anger.

"Then...if I beat you in a shogi game, will you tell me?" She asked.

Seijuro looked at her and smirked.

"If you can manage to play 5 minutes against me, sure." He said.

"I might not be able to manage 5 minutes because I might beat you under 5 minutes." Misaki said confidently.

"That's impossible." Seijuro said, frowning, pushing the shogi board in the middle.

"We'll see."

-Time Skip-

It had been over 10 minutes and Misaki was still keeping up.

It was her turn now. She bit her nail in nervousness.

"Where did all thay confidence go?" Seijuro taunted.

Misaki made her move.

"It's still there. I just don't want to use it or you'll lose automatically."

Seijuro made his move. "Is that so? Prove it."

Seijuro was confident he would win. He remembered that Misaki never played shogi, at least, not as much as him.

"Do you not know?" Misaki asked, before doing anything.

"Know what?" Seijuro asked, frowning.

"That my will is absolute and no one can disobey me." She stated.

She pushed up her bangs away from her face, revealing a deep green eye.

Akashi's eyes widened.

She reached out her arm without looking at the board and made her last move.

"Checkmate."
