"Go talk to Shawn." I said softly, sitting down again. Wow, my life's a mess.

"So... everything okay?" Zay asked, sitting next to me.

I shrugged. "Don't know..." I trailed off.

"Wanna talk about it?"

"Don't know." I repeated, causing him to sigh.

"You gonna say anything else?"

I smiled a bit. "Don't know."

Cory and Shawn walked back into Topanga's. "Okay, drama's all dealt with, road trip time!" Cory exclaimed, causing Shawn and I to turn to look at him.

"Seriously?" We chorused in disbelief.

"We'll deal with your stuff later." Cory shrugged.

"All right, girls, grab a shovel." Topanga said, opening the door.

"We're digging up the past!" Shawn said before sighing. "Yay." He groaned.

"Come on, Topanga! Put some back into it, will you?" Cory whispered. We were digging in someone's backyard, that I knew. Shawn and I still hadn't talked, although we had given each other plenty of strange looks.

"I have blisters!" She whispered back. "And it's not exactly like I'm wearing my shoveling shoes. What about you guys?"

"We're on a mandatory break." Cory said and I scoffed.

"Hey, I thought we were only doing every other hole." Shawn defended.

I groaned. "You said you knew exactly where this thing was buried."

"Well, it's in this general vicinity, yes."

"How is this fun? You said this was gonna be fun." Maya complained.

"How can anybody make this fun?" I wondered, tapping around.

Riley skipped over to us. "I made some for your heads." She said, putting flower crowns on our heads.

"You're supposed to be digging." We told her.

"Oh, but I was digging for an hour, and all I found was this old metal box." She picked up a box, causing all of us to drop our shovels.

"Cory..." Shawn trailed off.

"What?"

"I'm concerned." Shawn said nervously.

"What's there to be concerned about, Shawnie?"

Shawn turned Cory around. "That."

There stood a man I recognized from my moms's yearbook. George Feeny. Shawn and Cory gasped amd pointed, something I remember my mom doing with Cory. "Mr. Matthews, Mr. Hunter. We meet again."

"Detention?" Cory asked.

"Big boy detention." He said, smiling.
