A story in which a character is a super fan of a local hero, and always misses it when the hero appears in public. This leads to the character's friends to think they are the hero.
(I think it would be cool if the hero actually is the character's (long lost) twin so maybe the friends meet him and they're confused that he doesn't recognize them and whatnot.)
