"You're the best lab partner ever! Thanks for making chemistry memorable! Love you!"-Linh

Sophie scanned the yearbook's autograph sections for her other friends' comments.

"Have a great summer! Enjoyed the fun times we had" -Marella

"Don't forget to bring your makeup to the next sleepover! I KNOW YOU DO IT ON PURPOSE (still love you)-Biana

"I guess I don't like makeup?" Sophie mused aloud.

"This year was a blast with you, I really enjoyed having history and English with you. Enjoy your summer and I'll see you soon :)"-Fitz

"Yo Foster! Glad you chose me for a role model this year, detention would've been boring without you ;) Catch you on the flipside"-TheKeefester

"Don't turn to the dark side this summer"-Tam

"Hey, even though Linh and I had to clean up after all of your failed chem experiments, this year was great! Just keep your hands to yourself during labs next year in zoology, k?"-Dex

Sophie smiled to herself. From what she could gather, she was pretty close to her friends. She just wished she could remember them.

Hopefully this would help jog her memory.

"You're sure?" Her mom had asked, after Sophie had told her she was ready to meet her friends. She'd nodded confidently.

...And now she wasn't as confident.

Ding-dong!

The doorbell cheerfully sounded. Sophie got up from the couch she'd settled herself on and looked through the peephole first.

A pair of icy blue eyes met hers from the other side, and she jolted back with a muted "aah!"

She opened the door carefully, letting in her guests. Keefe (she assumed) came in laughing.

"I knew that'd get you. Silly Foster, always so cautious!" He looked at her carefully, amusement leaving momentarily.

"I heard you lost your memory. How are you feeling?"

Sophie was thrown by the sudden mood swing. Did he always do that?

"Stop hogging her!" A bossy voice commanded. Biana pushed past Keefe and hugged Sophie. There was no doubt in Sophie's mind that this was Biana; her fashion sense was obvious. Sophie feebly hugged her back until someone pried Biana off of her.

"Hey Sophie."

Fitz, another obvious.

"Hi Fitz."

"She remembers me!" Fitz yelled. "Ha! I guess it's me then!"

"No, sorry. I just looked you guys up in the yearbook." Sophie felt bad for having to rain on Fitz's parade.

Keefe smirked.

"So you don't remember me?" A strawberry blond, Dex, piped up.

"No. But I know that you're Dex. And you-" Sophie pointed to the people at the edge of the group. "Are Marella, Tam, and Linh!"

Everyone looked a little astounded, until Keefe exclaimed. "And there's the Mysterious Miss F we all know and love, already back to impressing us with her smarts."

Sophie blushed.

"Let's reintroduce ourselves!" Linh exclaimed abruptly. Marella raised an eyebrow.

"Well, since she basically just met us, we should pretend like we don't know each other!"

Dex nodded, then added. "We should introduce ourselves, but maybe instead of pretending we don't know her, we should each share a memory of her we like or maybe something about her we admire."
