[blurb: Brett wakes up and can't find his glasses. Eddy takes advantage of this.]

---

Eddy P.O.V.

I roll to my side as the cold morning air hit my bare torso. Slowly, and painfully, I sit up and lean against the headboard. Brett had been rough last night, but in all the right ways - I can't say I mind at all.

He's always been the more aggressive between the two of us. Both in our friendship, and in our partnership as lovers. I've expressed my insecurities to him before, admitting that I feel quite inferior to him in many ways. He laughed it off and silenced me by saying, "I'm only this great because you love me."

I move a little to see if it still hurt to move the lower half of my body. Somehow, I manage to stand up with little to no pain. As quietly as I could, I covered him with the blankets, I wouldn't want him to wake up feeling the harsh cold.

I make my way to the bathroom and take a quick, warm shower. I would have preferred to soak in the tub, but drawing water would be too loud and I don't want to wake Brett up just yet. We both decided last night that today is going to be a chill day. So naturally, I'd like to get even just a little bit of work done before he wakes up - and ideally, I'd like for him to be asleep for a significant amount of time.

I walk back into our bedroom to find some fresh clothes. I grabbed the first hoodie I saw, which was technically Brett's but it was in my size because it originally truly belonged to me in the first place - our wardrobe has been tricky like that since we started living together. After putting the hoodie on, I slipped into a pair of gray sweatpants, not bothering with underwear since we agreed not to go out today anyway.

As quietly as I could, I grabbed my laptop and phone, and then left the bedroom to go to our office. I'd like to do some editing while he's asleep, maybe I'll manage to upload at least one video. I put on headphones and proceed to edit, making sure the volume wasn't at 100%.

...L A T E R...

I watched as the video was being uploaded, removing my headphones and setting it on the table. I couldn't help but wonder if Brett is already awake. Which led me to remember that one morning when he woke up and couldn't find his glasses.

It was quite a sight, really. It was weird seeing Brett so panicked because he was always the calm one. He was so flustered and his cheeks remained pink until we eventually found his glasses. The moment he put them on, his whole demeanor changed back to the confident, sexy Brett.

I heard the knob of our office door turn, and I knew Brett was probably going to be upset because I was working when I should've stayed in bed until he woke up. But when the door finally opened, Brett slowly walked in, his head hung as he gently rubbed his eye.

"Babe," he whispered with a sheepishly soft voice as he came nearer, "Have you seen my glasses?"

I was about to tell him where it was, but he tripped and fell on top of me. I couldn't help but chuckle when he groaned and pushed himself off me. There it was, that flustered look on his face - he just hates being out of control, doesn't he?

I took his hand and pulled him toward me again. Caught off guard, he fell on my lap, straddling me. "Eddy... this isn't the time for teasing." he scolded me, trying to free himself from my hold.

I leaned toward him, just barely letting my lips graze his ear, "But you're so cute when you're flustered like this."

His face went straight to a crimson red, "Eddyyyy," he whined, "Just tell me where my glasses are." He finally got himself out of my hold and he stood up, only a small distance was keeping us apart. "Please? You know I need my glasses, babe." he tried, leaning forward, resting his forehead on mine.

I leaned forward as well, but only so that I could catch him off guard and carry him off to our bedroom. "Eddy!" he screamed, wriggling in my arms, "Eddy, what are you doing!?"

I laid him on the bed and looked at his panicked, flushed face. "Brett, you should really let go of the need to be in control all the time." I said, making my way between his legs.

Fully aware of what my actions were doing to his body and my own, I continued teasing him, "Come to think of it, we've never done anything like this before."

He was trying to catch his breath, another telltale sign that my teasing was driving him over the edge, "Wh--what do you mean? You're always teasing me like this."

I shook my head, "I mean...You never take your glasses off, until after..."

He grew even redder, his body tensing up at my words. Have I struck a nerve? I don't want to make him mad.

He swallowed thickly, doing his best to pretend there was no heat between us. "That's just because..." he trailed off, pushing himself up, propping himself on his elbows. Our faces were merely a few inches apart, "I don't want to miss anything."

It was my turn to be flushed. My heart beat even faster, and it wasn't because I was heating up.

"I really can't see that well...so I keep my glasses on..." he cleared his throat, "Because I don't want to miss the important things."

My whole body was hot now, and my face was burning. Not from desire, from absolute flattery. I can't believe Brett has this much effect on me, he's just so full of surprises.

I slowly back away, pulling myself off him. I sat on the edge of the bed and allowed my heart to keep thumping as my thoughts raced.

"Babe?" he said, his hand blindly reaching for me. "Was that upsetting? Did I say something wrong?"

I couldn't help but smile. For goodness sake, this man just couldn't be any more perfect, can he?

I crouch and reach under the bed, where I know his glasses had fallen after our rough rounds last night. It didn't take long to find the pair of glasses that made this morning so much more special than I had wanted it to be.

"Babe? Please say something." Brett said, his body slowly moving so that he could touch me.

I meet him halfway, putting on his glasses for him before leaning in and kissing him. He pulled me closer and refused to have any sort of space between us. I deepened the kiss as his hands snaked their way all over my body.

Slowly, very slowly, he pulled away and caught his breath. I rest my forehead on his, knowing he had something he wanted to say. He opened his eyes and met my gaze, "I see you. You are so beautiful in this light." he planted a soft kiss on my lips, "Please forgive me for wanting to see all of you."

I shook my head as I leaned in for another deep kiss.
