Shawn and Y/N have been neighbors and best friends since first grade. Y/N had lived in the same house her entire life. She was an only child and had always been lonely growing up. When Shawn moved in next door they became best friends. They have been inseparable ever since.

Now they were 16 years old and sophomores in high school. Y/N is a dancer and dances on the school dance team. Shawn plays the guitar and sings a little bit. Y/N has had a huge crush on Shawn since seventh grade but knows he doesn't like her back.
