A Sky Full of Stars (Izuku Midoriya x Reader)

Chapter 10

MIDORIYA'S POV:

When I heard Aizawa say there were villains, I felt a shiver run through my body. So this extraordinary evil is what pro heroes fight against on a daily.

"Wait, but The USJ should have intruder censers, right?" I heard (L/n) ask.

"Yes, but they're not going off." Thirteen was clearly a bit panicked.

"If the alarms are not going off then one of them must have a quirk interfering with the system. They chose an isolated building far from the school, during the same time we were supposed to be here. They are fools, but they planned this attack well." Todoroki explained to (L/n), who was standing next to him.

Aizawa-sensei told Thirteen to start the evacuation and for Kaminari to try contacting the school with his quirk while he faced the group of villains.

"But sir, your fighting style is to erase the villains quirk and capture them. Your quirk would be hard to use if you went face to face with a large group." I pointed out, afraid of Aizawa-sensei's well being.

"You can't be a hero with just one trick." He said.

He went to attack and surprisingly he was doing amazing taking out villains repeatedly even though he could only erase one quirk at a time. I was looking back at him when I heard (L/n) yell over at me.

"Midoriya! Come on we have to take shelter away from the villains." They shouted and I quickly followed them.

Just as we started running to get out, a guy surrounded by purple mist seemed to teleport from the ground. The man turned to face us as we abruptly stopped.

"It is nice to meet you. We are the League of Villains. We have invited ourselves into the UA grounds in order to destroy All Might, but I see he is not here." He began speaking.

Before he could continue, Kacchan and Kirishima jumped out at him and tried to hit him with their quirks, but he just formed back to his mist form.

"Stay back you two!" Thirteen warned.

"My job is to scatter and torture you all!" The mist guy yelled as we were surrounded by the purple mist and met with complete darkness.

Before I could think about what was happening, I was in water. In a panic I tried to swim, but all of a sudden a villain was coming right at me.

Just as they were about to attack, I felt something wrap around my waist. I realized it was Asui's tongue. she pulled me out of the water and set me on a large boat.

A few seconds later, I saw another person laying beside me, recognizing them as (L/n). They were breathing heavily and coughing, trying to recover from being in the water. Mineta was also very harshly thrown on the boat.

I got up and looked over the side of the boat to see Asui climbing on board.

"Thank you Asui." I said.

"Call me Tsu." She replied, climbing onto the deck.

"Is anyone injured?" I heard (L/n) voice behind me ask. They seemed okay luckily.

"I think everyone is fine." I said offering them a hand. They took it and pulled themselves up.

"It looks like we got ourselves in quite the mess here." They sounded exhausted.

"Yeah. I can't stop thinking about what the mist guy said about All Might." I replied

"All Might will come and beat the crap out of him, though!" Mineta added.

"Well, if they planned to destroy All Might, then they must have a way to do just that." Asu- I mean Tsu noted.

That would make sense. They wouldn't have planned out all this if they didn't have a way to kill All Might. They probably started that press riot to be able to get our schedule.

A group of villains started crowding around the ship. They were clearly hesitant to attack though. This got me thinking.

"I don't think they know our Quirks. They are hesitating, so they must not know what we could do." I said aloud.

"You're right! They wouldn't have sent Tsu to the shipwreck zone if they knew her quirk. They would've sent her to a fire zone or something." (L/n) added.

I knew this would come to our advantage. I asked everyone about their quirks and they explained them to me.

The villains were talking amongst themselves, clearly getting impatient. If we didn't act quickly they would most definitely attack.

I turned to everyone and started telling them about my plan. I explained how Asui can carry us and jump across the pool to land, and how I could trap the villains by using my quirk to create a whirlpool.

(L/n) nodded. "So I guess I'm taking the sidelines here, huh?"

I panicked. "It's not like that. You're very useful, it's just.... um..." I heard them laugh.

"I was kidding Midoriya. Your plan is smart and I'm okay with not being a big part of it. I just wish I could help you guys out more." They said. I didn't know what to say, so I simply gave her a determined nod.

Just then the villains started attacking us, destroying the bottom of the boat so it started sinking. We knew this was the time to act on our plan.

I jumped off the ship and aimed my blast toward the middle of the villains. A whirlpool started around them, sucking them.

I noticed the broken finger immediately, but I couldn't feel it likely due to the adrenaline.

Asui grabbed me by her tongue and pulled me up towards her, (L/n) grabbed my arm for more support, making sure I don't fall.

Mineta tried his best to be useful by throwing his balls at the villains so that they stuck together, which made it much harder for them to escape.

Making it on the beach with victory, (L/n) laughed in pure joy and I couldn't help but join with them, finding their laugh incredibly contagious.

That was until Mineta groped Tsu, which she reacted by shoving his head under water and (L/n) recoiled in disgust.

Once the adrenaline had warn off, the pain shot through my finger immediately and I flinched.

(L/n) noticed and looked down at my broken finger. All of a sudden they grabbed my hand.

"W-what are y-you doing (L/n)?"A electric feeling shot up my spine at their touch. They wouldn't grab my hand out of the blue for nothing, but what are they trying to do?

They didn't answer me, but instead a emerald green light circled out of their hand and into mine. After a few seconds they pulled back and I looked at my hand.

I-it was completely healed! I knew their quirk was a healing based one, but I've never actually seen it. It was amazing! They healed it so fast. I kept in mind to write about this in my notebook later on.

I looked up at them with a smile on my face, but it soon faded. They looked like they were going to pass out.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, my quirk's drawback is that I loose stamina when I use it. An injury like this usually would be totally fine to heal under normal circumstances, but I couldn't sleep last night." They explained in a dazed voice.

"You didn't have to do that (L/n). I would've been fine." I said.

"It looked like it hurt. I hate seeing my friends hurt." I couldn't help but feel guilty for making them worry.

"Anyway, we better start heading back to the middle. hopefully we could meet up with Aizawa-sensei or the other students." They pulled a energy bar from their belt and and quickly ate it.

"Are you sure you're going to be alright?" I prodded

"Yes, let's go." They got on their feet and started walking, but you could tell it was a struggle to keep themselves awake. Having no other choice, we followed.
