I grab them by the sides of their arms and shake them.

"No! No! We have to find her! Have all the officers look for her, please!"

He slightly pushes me off of him.

"Jin! Calm down. We're doing all we can."

I then turn around and rush out the door to get back in my car.

I drive.

I'll find you Alice.

For almost about 4 hours, I have drove and looked for her. I couldn't find her anywhere.

Where the fuck are you Alice?

I stop at a a stoplight, waiting for it to turn green.

I hear sirens from a distance, getting closer and closer.

Police cars and firetrucks have their lights on and speed in front of me. I then look to my right to see police lights at a distance.

I follow the sirens and head towards the direction.

I reach towards a cemetery and immediately get out my car.

I rush towards the pond, where there were firefighters and policemen.

I see police tape around the pond.

I then see Alice's unconscious body on the ground. They are using a defibrillator to wake her up.

I cover my mouth and my tears start rushing down my eyes.

I run towards the pond, but I'm stopped by police officers.

"No! No! No! That's my fiancé! Alice! Alice!"

I reach my arms to her as the police hold me back.

"Sir, calm down! Calm down!"

"Alice! No! Please no! Why didn't you take me?! Why didn't you take me instead!"

I see the paramedics bring her body onto a cot and roll her into the ambulance and close the doors.

I push the officers out my way and run towards the ambulance.

"Alice! Please no! Please!"

Two officers pull me back forcefully.

"Jin! It's Officer Min and Officer Jung. Calm down please."

I begin to heave and tighten my eyes.

This can't be, she can't. This isn't real.

"Alice!" I scream with my hoarse voice.

Officer Min's yells to me.

"Jin! Just let the paramedics do their jobs! They're trying to save her."

I crash to the cold ground and bring my head down.

I am sitting  in a police car with the door open; waiting to see if she'll wake up. I stare at the ground, hardly moving. I hear footsteps comes towards me. I look up to see Sergeant Namjoon.

He kneels down to me and places his hands on my knee.

"I'm sorry Jin."

I don't respond and just stare to the ground without blinking.

"We didn't get here in time, I'm so sorry."

I look to him slowly.

"Tell me. Tell me what happened to her."

Sergant Namjooon shakes his head.

"We don't know why she did, but the grave keeper said he saw from a distance that she was just smiling walking into the pond. He called out for her and tried to stop her, but he didn't make it on time. He called us right away, but we didn't get here on time to stop her."

I stare at the ground and we hear foot steps comes towards us.

A paramedic is walking towards us, and by the look in his eyes, its not good. My heart drops and I start to cry.

He stops in front of Sergeant Namjoon and I.

"I'm sorry Sir. She's dead."

I push my hands into my face and just cry.

The sergeant wraps his arms around me and tries to comfort me.

My whole world was taken away from me. I have nothing. He took Alice away from me. He could've taken me, but that would've been to easy. He took the only thing I cared about. Now that she's gone, I'm shattered and I have nothing to live for.

Why didn't you take me?  Why?

I look to see that they zip up the body bag and close the back of the ambulance.

I then hear the paramedics talking with one another.

"Time of death. January 11, 2095. 7:47 AM."
