As Will dragged him into the infirmary, Nico couldn't help but think about what Will had said.  "I got over him." So Will liked Percy as well? Is he like him?

Will interrupted his thoughts. "Here we are," he said as they approached the infirmary. "This is where I will be spending countless days healing. You'll be here, too, actually."

"I don't understand why you're making me stay. I'm perfectly fine," complained Nico.

"Nope. You're staying. You've done too much underworld-y stuff. I have a feeling that if you do any more you will dissolve. Doc-"

"Doctor's orders. Got it," spat an annoyed Nico.

Instead of looking hurt, as Nico would have expected, Will just smirked.  He almost looked like he was planning something.

But he couldn't even finish the thought. Before he knew it, he had been swept off his feet, flung over Will's shoulders, and carried into the infirmary.

Nico almost started pounding his fists into Will's back, but what good would it do? Will clearly was going to carry him into the infirmary whether Nico liked or not.

They received a few looks from the other healers, but nothing really shocked them. Did Will do this with everyone? Nico had been starting to get the vibes that Will liked him, but immediately dismissed it when no one even batted an eye at their grand entrance.

Will gently placed Nico on a bed. No one else was in the room which was quite odd considering how many injured people there were, not to mention the fact that there were some empty beds in the other rooms.

Nico looked up at Will. The blonde boy had a satisfied look on his face, and his soft lips formed a smirk, as if daring Nico to say something.

Nico gave him one of his best "you will go to tartarus" glares. "I hate you," he said.

Will didn't move.

"Can I help you?" asked Will, his eyebrows shooting up.

"No. I'm good," responded Nico in a rather monotonous tone.

Will didn't listen.  He swung a chair around right next to the bed and sat down, his face still amused as ever.

"I don't need to be here," said Nico.

"Yes, well, you see, at the moment, campfire sing-alongs are happening right outside and unless you want to join in on all that fun, which I don't think you do, you might as well stay here." Nico rolled his eyes.

"What do you want?" he demanded.

Will crossed his arms. Nico crossed his arms in response. A grin swept across Will's face.

"Nothing, what do you want?" teased Will.

Nico was getting seriously annoyed with this kid. Although he could be flirting... Nico pushed that thought away. Will was his friend. That's it. Will probably never got butterflies when Nico was around the way Nico always got butterflies when Will was around.

When Nico wasn't responding, Will got a little offended. He sat up and patted Nico's shoulder.

"Ok, death boy-"

"Do not call me death boy."

"Alright, alright. Nico, then. If you need anything, just holler. I'll be right across the hall." He got up and began to leave. Nico grew anxious because he wanted him to stay. For the first time in his life since Bianca had passed, he wanted somebody to be with him.

"Wait!" called Nico.

Will spun around just as he was exiting.

"What's up?"

"Tha-that thing you said before, about having a crush on Percy..."

"What about it?"

"Um, well, a-are you..." An eternity seemed to pass while he delayed throwing in that last word.

"Gay?" Will answered.  Once again, his soft lips, which Nico cursed himself for noticing, curved into a smile and his eyebrows seemed to question every move.

Nico opened his mouth, immediately feeling stupid for asking. He almost began to say something, but something stopped him.

"Yeah, I guess you could say that," Will said as he winked and walked out the door.
