Chapter 7

I closed the door and rested my back on it, this makes me think more, I'm again stressing myself, why did he said that? I went to the couch and curled my legs on my chest, 

I should call Leah "Leah answer the damn p-" I grumbles on the phone as she answered before I finish my sentence 

"hello? Miss me that much?" she giggles "can you come over? Please?" I sighed 

"of course, be there in minutes" she said as we hung up 

What is happening in the world? He can wait? Oh geez, I really don't know what I'm thinking I'm so confuse! 

"Lorri?! What's up?" I heard Leah came inside rushing towards me "Leah, I really don't know" I smiled in sarcasm as she hugged me 

"Sir Bradley drives me home, I invited him for a hot chocolate and we talked about earlier, I don't even know why I invite him inside..." I softly sobbed and she just comforts me by rushing my back. I told her the rest of the story, about what sir Bradley said that take the chance thing and she can't help but to squeal 

"Leah why are you even happy?" I sniffled while crying "can't you notice? Can't you see it?! he likes you!!!" Leah giggled and I just stared at her poker faced. That thought of something in me, he likes me?! That is what he meant by that?! Oh my Gosh, and why am I even feeling this?! 

"Leah stop!!! I'm serious here!" I said sniffling "sorry" she laughed "but seriously though, that is what I think when he said that, I mean, do you have any guy dating now?" she asked as I shook my head, no, 

"and you know that I notice you like him too..." she continued "Leah, we haven't even know if he really does like me..." I said letting out a chuckle because of how we assume right now and we're gonna end up assuming nothing. 

"well, let's see" she laughed "I better go now" she said standing up "no! who told you to go home yet?! You'll be sleeping here bitch" I said walking to my bedroom "I miss cuddling you" I mumbled "okay, okay" she laughed as we went into my room.

I woke up by a loud snoring beside me and I saw Leah, yes, she's a loud snorer it annoys me as I get up and made myself a cup of coffee. My eyes laded on the window seeing the beautiful view from my building a pine trees and different sizes of buildings with the birds still flying in the blue sky and an altocumulus clouds. This doesn't hide the things I thought about last night, making me stress as hell, he likes me? I like him too, but I'm afraid, so afraid. I just don't think he is the guy who I like but he's right, when the right one come those standards I want just faded and just nothing then came out to be that guy flawless and perfect in my eyes. I don't seem to see sir Bradley like that, or not yet.

After I drank my coffee I sat on the couch, I want all these things get out of my mind, I want to escape this and don't want this to get worse. As a part of my stress reliever thing, I decided to go to a run, I changed my clothes into running style with my phone on an armband. "Lee! I'm gonna go for a run be back later" I yelled from the doorway of my room as she groaned yes. I went out from my building as the fresh air from the tree of the park aroused in my nose, my building is across a street from the park so it's easy for me to get in there and started my run.

After a few minutes I found myself standing with my hands on my knees leaning forward breathing heavily and my earphone on. 

"Water?" some guy from my beside offered me, 

"no thank you" I simply replied without looking at him, I'm now breathing normally but the sweats are all over me, 

"stress, are you?" he asked, geez, why guys kept talking to me first?! I mean why are they like into me? Or really just being friendly? Ugh. I looked at him and simply nod, I must say he looks attractive, he's wearing tank sports top and shorts, he got this athletic figure with like Latin face and he's tan, he also got this clean face, he doesn't have any beard on, and his chestnut brown colored hair, so attractive. This is the first time I drooled over a man, by maybe his looks not the insides, unlike Bradley, I get attractive by his looks and yes I like Bradley. Damn, I just said that! I like Bradley!!! But like what I have said, I'm afraid. 

"I don't believe we have met," I bit my lower lip and he let out a chuckle with his teeth smiling, damn that smile. Okay, clearly, this is just like a fling but we'll see. 

"Matthew, Matthew Evans" he grinned sticking his hand to shake mine and so did I 

"Lorriane, Lorraine Clavinely" I smiled sexily on him and our hands, still shaking with each other "my hands are sweaty" I let out a chuckle nervously "so mine is" he said smiling as I jerked my hands off. 

I remove my gaze on him and I looked around the place, just not on him, "you're very pretty" he said and as far as the corner of eye saw, he is staring at me 

"gorgeous I must say" he chuckled as I look at him and he was completely smiling "I'm sorry I just- you really look- sorry for creeping you out" he said as he looked down, so cute

"no it's totally fine, that's the sweetest someone have said to me" I forced a smile and so he does 

"you want get some breakfast? Coffee? Tea?" he asked in a manly deep voice 

"I already had coffee in my apartment but yeah sure, I'm craving for fries" I giggled as we walked to the nearest fast food chain in the corner street 

"do you think it's bad to have fries in the morning?" I asked as we continue walking "nah, it's almost lunch time, it'll be fine" he said as we reached the place

"you're cute, and the first woman I've seen to eat fries and burger after a run, mostly the girl I met are just you know, on their figures, and they don't do run, they are starving themselves I must say" he said drinking his coffee 

"oh yeah? Well don't compare me to them, I really am different from them" I grinned mouthing a fries. It's actually so nice to have this, I mean I was usually mean to the guys and as I remember, including with the first incident with sir Bradley. We talked for a while, seizing the moment, it's fun talking with him, he got good humor and it's attracting me. 

"you're fun to be with" I said as we walked to my apartment, "and you also fun to be with" he grinned "I'm weird and crazy! You have got to be kidding" I laughed and so he does "that's not an issue, you're cute!!!" he grinned "stop, you have been flattering me for an hours now" I giggled. 

We reached my apartment building "I haven't got your number yet" he laughed as I look at him, I don't think I'm not ready but this is just a fling I don't know!!! But I want to forget all my feelings about Bradley, 

"how about you give me yours and I'll call you" I smiled sexily "here" he handed me a piece of paper and he smiled sexily as well 

"Lorraine..." some guy from my behind spoke and that voice, it's sir Bradley 

"sir Bradley" I tried not to flinch and shocked, I glare at Matthew and back at Bradley, 

"uhm, Matthew this is sir Bradley, my boss, Bradley, this is Matthew" I introduced them to each other for less awkward moment. "it's a pleasure" Matthew spoke and I forced a smile on him "maybe you should go..." I said to Matthew and he nods, "I'll call you" I smiled as he grabs my hand and kissed the top of it and he walked away. 

I faced Bradley with a 'what' look in my face "I went upstairs and Leah was the only one there" he said as I rolled my eyes on him and went inside to my apartment 

"I want to talk to you" he said following me, 

"for what? Leaving me thinking again? Making me stress as hell?" I said sarcastically on him, I feel like bursting in tears again for no reason! Ugh. 

"about last night" he replied following me "last night?" I raise a brow on him "let me explain" he said hopefully, explain what?! Again he's leaving me mysterious! He always do that! I hate it! I hate it when I'm damn clueless about this.

"explain what?" I continue questioning him "can you just please stop asking and just agree?" he said, now he's pissed, I like seeing him annoyed 

"oh so now you're pissed off? No I don't want to talk about last night, we don't have to talk about anything but work" I said walking away from him and went in my room, before I turned the doorknob on and get inside I glare at him and he nod, did I get too far? Noooo! I'm just saying the truth I get inside and he left.
