The alien looked upon the earth,
the blue water, it's spherical curve,
a world of wonder and joy,
so the alien was deployed.
The spaceship was large and round,
purple lights easily found,
so far from what was known,
this was the alien's only home.
The alien had escaped the wrath of the sun,
his planet had survived it's longest, but it was done,
burnt to a crisp under the heat,
it suffered it's final defeat.
