Eve looked at us and whispered, "I've got this." She went over to Courtney and slightly pushed her in before shutting the door, locking it.

"Not cool, ??. Guys! Don't leave me!" she yelled, pounding on the door and then stopped. "I'll stop goofing around if you let me out."

Eve looked at us, waiting. "Should we let her out?"

"Nah. Keep her in there a few more seconds," Jacob said.

Courtney stared at as through the small hole just barely. She stuck her tongue out before asking, "Can I come out now."

"I don't know can you?" Eve said playfully, staring at her.

Eve opened the door and Courtney shoved Eve playfully and stuck her tongue at us. "You guys are the worst."

"Uh guys. They're here," Jacob said from the window. Everyone rushed to a window and sure enough Chris and his gang were at the fence.

"How did he find us?" Ethan whispered, he backed away from the window.

Noah shrugged, "Either way we need to hide. Everyone get in pairs and hide in separate rooms."

I grabbed Jacob and he nodded. We ran out of the room and down the stairs quickly. There were several doors on the first floor but only one was open. I motioned for Jacob to follow and he did. We ran inside and closed the doors. From the windows I watched as the brothers walked past our room and into the main building.

"I think we're okay... from now at least," I told my brother, still watching Chris.

     "I don't think so, Ashley."

"What?" I turned around to see Jacob with a gun pointed to his head. A small girl with light brown hair in a baseball cap narrowed her eyes at me.

"Get out of my house. All of you," she cocked the gun and motioned me to move. I glanced around see this was indeed her room. A mattress was on the side of the wall. Box of food and water along the wall. Clothes scattered on the floor. When I didn't move she pushed the gun closer to Jacob head. "Move or I blow this man's brains."

I could her footsteps in the hallway and I had to act fast, "We didn't mean any harm. We just hiding from this bad men that want to kill us and do experiments on us. Please just for a minute."

"Where are they?!" Davin's voice cursed from the other room.

The little girl listened before nodding and motioned for her to follow her. "Behind these boxes." We obeyed and bent down behind the boxes. She sat down in a chair pretending to read a book. Davin threw open the door and walked in.

"Have you seen any teenagers around, little girl? I know they're around here somewhere," he asked.

The girl shook her head and said, "I'd like it if you left my house though. I don't take kindly to strangers... Any of them."

Davin started to walk around and that's when she pulled out her gun, firing a shot near his foot, "I said to leave, now."

Davin growled and walked away. Once he was out of ear shot, Jacob and I stood up. "That was amazing!"

"It's time for you to leave also."

"Why don't you come with us," Jacob said. "You won't have to be alone and you'll be surround with good people... mostly."

I smiled at the girl, "What do you say?"

"I think your crazy," she said, staring at us.

I looked at Jacob, "Maybe she's right. She too little to go on long death defying adventures. She'd get tired of-"

"Who are you calling little," she growled, narrowing her eyes.

"So are you going to join us?"

She grabbed her bag, throwing a few stuff in it, "Of course. You're going to need someone to protect you, losers. Help yourself." We grabbed a few items, stuffing them in our bags before heading out of the room. "My name is Chrissy by the way."

"I'm Jacob and this is my sister Ashley."

Chrissy nodded and walked ahead of us. We made our way to the stair rail and I stopped, "We should get the others before leaving." Climbing up the stairs we checked all the rooms but there was no sight of anyone. "That's weird."

     "Maybe they left without us?"

     "Why would they do that?"

Jacob shrugged, "Guess we should go look for them."
