minho woke up in a
cold sweat, remembering the horrifying
events of their break up.
although it was the morning, a
dark sky peered over their
apartment; rain flowing the street
below them.

turning his body to the left, he swung his
arm over, in hopes of wrapping his
significant other in a warm embrace.
weirdly enough, the other side was empty.

without much thought, he got out
of bed to roam their lot, in
search for the younger.

he sighed in relief when he saw him
in the kitchen. jisung turned around from the
sink in shock when he saw the older.
"aw min, i was gonna make you some breakfast
in bed."

minho smiled as he stared at the latter,
who was wearing a cute little apron spotted
with stains and his brown
locks coated with powdered sugar.
jisung pouted,
holding a large platter of pancakes
decorated beautifully with fruits and
such.

minho could feel himself swooning
at the sight.
"honey, you didn't have too,"

"i know, but i wanted to.
the weather was really bad and i know how
much you hate rain.
i wanted to start off our anniversary
on a good note."

minho pulled jisung into
a loving kiss, cupping his
cheeks into his hands.

"i'm so in love with you,
you don't even know."
minho spoke softly
into their kiss.

it was at that time minho
realized,

they didn't need a fancy town,
or all these places
that they couldn't pronounce.
