Metaknight has many scars on his face due to war and other battles. He wares his mask all to cover these scars and other reasons as well. Examples, most of the time metaknight doesn't want to fight whomever he's fighting. His enemy can see the knights facial expressions without the mask which could put him at a disadvantage if they can see hes sad while fighting.
Anyways hes ashamed of these scars and suffers frequent nightmares and trauma from fighting in the war
He feels guilty. All his friends everyone he knew who faught in the war died. And he was the only one to make it out alive. He feels as if he shouldnt have. Almost selfish even.
His friends try to help him. But metaknight just can't seem to bring himself to talk about it.
