*YOUR POV*

I went looking for a seat at the drive-in. I loned it since I don't got any friends. I'm a grease. I ain't a people kinda person. I'm a "I don't give a shit. Do want you want" person.

I don't go lookin for trouble, often. I just attract it.

I found a seat a good ways distance from the movie screen. Thing is Dallas Winston and 2 other real good lookin boys were in the row behind me.

2 socs came taking a seat next to me. Huffing something bout their boyfriends getting drunk.

One was a red head, mighty pretty too, the other was a brunette.

Dallas sure seemed to think the red head was attractive too. He whispered these unholy things that made me wanna laugh.

I put my elbows on my knees and leaned forward. I pulled out my steel lighter and lit a cigarette.

The red head threw a coke at Dallas's face. 'That don't sit well with Dallas, I'm sure' I thought.

She ended up jumping up and sitting next to me after Dallas kindly asked if it was her real hair. Dallas followed after her. 'Boy, is he really lookin to get laid' I chuckled/scoffed as I listened to their "conversation"

"Leave her alone, Dally." A quiet and scared voice said. It came from right behind me so I'm guessing it was the tanned boy with heavily greased hair and bangs that fell effortlessly over his forehead.

"What? What'd you say to me you shit?!"

I took another drag of my cancer stick.
I cleared my throat "He said leave her alone."

The smoke escaped my mouth as I spoke. They all turned to look at me. I didn't take my eyes off the screen. But I knew because I could feel a pair of angry eyes and multiple shocked ones on me.

Real tuff, huh? A greaser girl, who these boys don't know nothing about, defending a soc girl, who is just as in the dark as they are. Especially from Dallas Winston.

Well, damn me.

*DALLY'S POV*

"He said leave her alone." A girl said with smoke coming out of her mouth. I turned to her so did the socs, Pony, and Johnny.

She was a real looker. I mean I only saw the side of her face. She had wavy almost curly brown hair. Her skin was sorta tan. A lot lighter than Johnny's but darker than Pony's. And sharp jawline. She had violent blue eyes. She seemed familiar I don't know from where though.

"What?" I asked sourly.

"I said," she began raising her voice but then lowered it, "Leave her alone."

"Why should I?" She shrugged.

"Seems like you're beggin for whatcha can't have."

"You think I can't have this?"

"Seems like it. From what I understand you get whatever you want. Maybe not though." She leaned back into her chair and leaned her head back slightly. I scoffed.

"I CAN have whatever I want. I'm Da-"

"Dallas Winston. I know. Everyone knows," she interrupted me. She dragged the first "e" in "everyone".

Even though she was being a wise ass, I wanted to see where it was gonna go. I didn't usually take that kinda tone with anyone.

I didn't even notice the socs leave. Shortly after she got up and left, "Pleasure meetin ya boys. But I gotta go."

I caught up to her as she lit a new weed.

"I didn't catch your name."

"I didn't throw it at ya."

"What is it, anyways?"

"The names Y/l/n. Y/n Y/l/n."

"Where can I find you?"

"I dunno. Around. If you get lucky. I usually ain't in the same place twice. And from what I hear you ain't with the same girl twice."

She winked and walked off into the semi-lit darkness with a trail of smoke after her.

Boy, was she something.
