Kiera nodded her head. "I'm not saying that I don't believe you Yasmin, but you might just be acting paranoid. The best thing for a relationship is communication and honesty."

"Oh, look at you Kiera!" Yasmin giggled as she looked over at me. "She's been in a relationship for like a day and she already knows everything."

"You're completely right, Yasmin." I laughed.

Kiera's cheeks began to turn a light shade of pink. "You guys are unbelievable. Noah isn't my first boyfriend."

"Are you sure about that?" I teased.

"Yes!" Kiera let out a huff of air as she grabbed the red dress. "Red makes my eyes pop so I'm buying this dress."

Yasmin and I both laughed as we looked over at Kiera. I had already bought a navy blue dress while Yasmin had bought a beautiful yellow dress. My dress stopped just before the knees and it hugged my body perfectly.

But like always, Kiera was the last one to find a dress, because Kiera was Kiera.

"Kiera!" Yasmin practically yelled. "You literally look amazing in any colour. So please, can we go?"

Kiera's eyes widen slightly. "Relax girls! Thank you for the compliment but I already said that I'm buying this dress."

"Andrew please don't treat me like a clueless child." I huffed crossing my arms over my chest. "I know I'm not related to you and Alicia by blood, but I still consider you guys as my family and I'm worried."

"She should know what's going on, Andy." Mom mumbled as she looked over at Andrew.

Andrew let out a heavy sigh. "It was never my intention to leave you out, Khloe. It's just all very stressful."

I instantly felt bad for being such a brat when clearly my parents were in pain. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked."

Andrew held out his hands. "No need to apologize, Khloe." He smiled softly. "Nia is the only mother Alicia has ever known but Cadence is her biological mother. If I run a drug test on Cadence and she passes, maybe I'll consider letting Cadence see Alicia. If she fails..." Andrew didn't even bother to finish his sentence.

Mom walked towards Andrew and put her hands on his shoulders. "It's alright, sweetheart I'm sure she's clean but we can never be too sure."

I nodded my head slowly. "Mom, how are you feeling about this? Don't ever think for a second that Cadence is going to replace you. You've always been there for Alicia, even when her own mother wasn't."

Mom smiled softly. "Of course not sweetie. Sharing the same blood isn't the only thing that makes a family. Alicia is my baby— she's my daughter."

"Wow," I let out a low chuckle. "This got deep really fast." Mom and Andrew both laughed along with me. "This conversation is making me miss Alicia. I'm going to go see her upstairs."

"Oh, Khloe not so fast!" Mom continued to laugh and I slowly turned around. "We're going over to Lisa's house in about an hour."

My jaw dropped. "Since when?" I hated it when she did this.

"Since now." Andrew shrugged his shoulders. "What?" A smile slowly grew onto his lips. "Go get ready, Khloe."
