The Alps are creatures found in the German folklore that appeared in nightmares in the middle of the night. Claimed to be demons they would appear during a victim's dream as sleep paralysis was happening. These creatures after appearing in the dreams of men and women, would continue to haunt them by creating and showing them nightmares. In older times, people used to believe that the Alps cause problems such as night terrors, sleep apnea and sleep paralysis.
In addition to their horrifying appearance, these creatures have the ability to transform into butterflies, pigs, cats, snakes or dogs.
