“All pack now, Jess?” Jion asked.

“Did you check our food?”

“I did”

I nodded and looked around for my group.

“Gizel, are you really going to bring that teddy?”

“I can’t sleep without this, go away Sean don’t mind me.”

“I forgot my charger Mickey.”

“You can have mine, Ches.”

I face palmed, kids and their stuff. Phones are useless in the mountain anyway.

“Got your things complete, Jion?” I casually ask.

“Yeah, I guess so. How about you?”

“I forgot my jacket that’s all. Let’s go.” I said.

Damn it. I heard there are pine trees everywhere, guess I’ll sleep in cold.
First aid in my right hand, a whistle in my left and a big bag pack in my back, 1 hour of solidarity walk will be the death of me. I should have known better, with Sir Austin in service there will always be a long walk.

I look down in my shoes, mud everywhere bye bye new laundry shoes. I looked around, big trees anywhere, flying birds in the sky, water rushing in the rocks, I sighed. What a sight.

“Need a hand?” Sean asked.

“No, thank you.” I said and smiled at him.

I am fine, for real. For a girl scout this kind of hiking is fine by me but not until I heard three consecutive whistles nearby, I stopped on my track and cussed in annoyance, “The fuck?”

“Hey, what does it mean?” Sean asked.

I was about to answer him when someone grasped my bag behind me leaving no weight in my back.

“It means we are lost.” Jion answered coldly.

I looked at him in wide eyes; all weight in my bag was now on his gripped.

“Say you got a strong arm, right there boy.” I commented.

“I can lift you, if you wanted me to.”

Sean looked away. I roll my eyes at Jion, and looked away to hide my face, bet there’s a flushed of red. Damn it, Jion.
