Chapter 29

"I'm in love with you."

I freeze. I don't know how to respond. I never knew he felt the same way. I always denied my feeling for him.

He lets out an angry sigh and gets up.

"I knew it. I knew I shouldn't of told you." He starts angrily walking towards his car while brushing his hands through his hair.

"Ethan! Wait!"

I get up and walk over to him.

"I knew this would happen." He lets his arms fall to his sides as he starts to rant. "I value our friendship so much and I just ruined everyth-"

I cut him off with a kiss. I pull away with a smile and wait for his reaction. He looks me in my eyes and smiles.  He softly cups my cheek with his hand. He quickly leans in and we kiss. We both smile into the kiss. It was kind of like we have been waiting for this moment for years. We pull away and I hug him. He wraps his strong arms around me and lays his chin on my head.

"I'm in love with you too E. I keep telling myself, 'No. You don't love him like that. He's your best friend.' But, I've just been lying to myself. I was scared, just like you. I didn't want to loose you."

I look up at him. He smiles at me. We pull out of the hug and Ethan grabs both of my hands.

"Amy, you will never loose me. I will always be here for you. No matter what. I promise."

My smile widens and I look down as I blush.

"Amelia Grace Turner."

I look up at him.

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes!" I almost yell.

His smile widens and I excitedly throw my arms around his neck and kiss him.

"Let's go tell Elena and Gray!" I say excitedly.

"Ok, babe." He says with a chuckle.

My eyes widen.

"I love the sound of that."

He chuckles while saying "me too."

He holds my hand on the way to his car. He opens the door for me.

"Wow! Such a gentleman!"

"Anything for my lady!" He says with a smirk.

I let out a giggle and he closes the door. He jogs to the other side of the car with a huge smile and I can tell he's just as excited as I am. He gets in the car and looks over at me.

"I am so happy right now." He says with a chuckle.

I laugh and we make our way to his house.

We barge into the twins's house while yelling "guys!"

I hear a big bang come from the kitchen. Ethan and I gasp and look at each other.

"Seriously? I just got those out of the oven!" Elena says.

We quickly walk into the kitchen and see an a pan and cookies on the floor. Elena is angrily picking them up and Grayson is leaning against the counter with a hand on his chest taking deep breaths.

Ethan laughs.

"I'm sorry guys. We didn't mean to scare you." I say with a giggle.

"What's so important that you had to scream about it?" Elena asks.

I look over at Ethan with a smile.

"YOU ASKED HER OUT!" Grayson yells.

I jumped then laughed.

"WHAT!" Elena yells as she drops the pan of cookies, again.

Ethan and I laugh even harder.

"Yes. I asked her out."

Elena and Grayson yell and jump up in excitement.

I laugh and Elena runs over to me and hugs me.

"I knew you liked each other! I knew it! I knew it! I knew it!"

She gasps.

"WELL HAVE TO CALL THE GIRLS!"

I gasp and grab my phone. I FaceTime all three of them.

"Hey guys!" Elena says.

"Guys, I have some excitedly news!"

"What!" Natalie says excitedly.

"SPILL!" Chloe yells.

I giggle and pull Ethan closer to me so they can see him.

"Hey!" He says as he waves.

They all gasp.

"Oh. My. Gosh." Natalie says in shock.

"NO WAY!" Bailey screams.

Ethan and I chuckle.

"What?"

"Please tell me you two are dating!" Natalie says excitedly.

Ethan and I look at each other with a smile. We both lookat my phone and simultaneously say "we're dating."

All the girls scream and I almost drop my phone.

"FINALLY!" Natalie yells excitedly.

Natalie quickly looks away.

"Natalie? Why are you yelling?" Kate asks.

I giggle.

"Amelia and Ethan are dating!"

"Really?"

"Yeah! Look!"

"Hey Kate!" Ethan and I say at the same time.

"Hey guys!" Kate waves. "I'm so happy for the two of you!"

"Thank you!" I say.

The girls all say hello to Kate.

"I'll talk to guys soon, ok?"

We nod.

"Natalie, dinner is almost ready."

"Ok mom."

Kate walks out of her room.

"I guess I'll go now. I'm starving." Natalie says.

We all giggle.

"Im going to go eat too." Chloe says.

"Yeah, same." Bailey says.

"Ok. Bye girls! Love you!"

"Bye! Love you guys!" Natalie says.

"Bye! Love you!" Chloe says.

"Bye! Love you too!" Bailey says.

I hang up and lay my phone down on the kitchen table.

"So, Gray. What are you going to cook for us?"

"I was thinking hamburgers."

"Sounds good!" I say.

Ethan and Elena agree and we go into the living room and sit down on the couch.

"No one is going to help me?"

"Nope!" We all say in unison.

Gray sighs and we chuckle.
