With her head bobbing along to the exceedingly loud music in her ears Minji bounced her leg impatiently to the beat, her slightly dirt-white converse tapping the tiled floor. She had been sitting in this damn cafe booth for so long her ass had started going numb.

Minji twirled her black mechanical pencil in her small, pale hand, looking around the coffee shop in hopes of seeing her best friend approaching. Of course however, he wasn't. She checked her phone and sighed. It was already 5:45 pm, the two had decided on studying at 5:20, sharp. Minji planned on Jimin being late but a small part of her thought this time would be different.

Looking down upon the bundled up folders, messy papers, and multicolored highlighters Minji frowned. If Jimin didn't show up soon he never would. The girl debated with herself with the question of, "should I just start on my own?" but before she could figure that out, she needed a coffee, bad.

Minji looked up from the booth table and traced her eyes over the shop, noticing someone she had never seen before behind the cash register, a new employee. She always came to this particular place for their amazing desserts and coffees either by herself or with friends, mainly Jimin. She has sat in this booth many times, never noticing someone like him, and you'd better believe she would.

He was ruggedly handsome with cool brown eyes that started off unwaveringly as he stood behind the cash register. A green apron wrapped around his neck and waist, covering the tight ripped jeans and loose plain black shirt he was wearing. Curly fluffs of his hair draped down on the sides of his face and covered his forehead, a simple part a lined in the middle of it all. Minji's eyes traveled over the boys face, examining him.

As she continued to look at the males features, he glanced over in her direction, aware of her stares. They made eye contact, a bright red tint covering Minji's cheeks as she noticed. She swung her head around to the large window next to her, staring out at the parking lot as if she had never been looking his way at all.

Her heart beat rose out of embarrassment. How could she not realize she was staring so intently? After about 2 minutes Minji slowly turned her head to the counter once more. She wanted to know if the boy was still looking or thought she was weird, but deep down she knew all she really wanted was to look at him again.

To Minji's surprise he was looking at her, staring as a matter of fact. His hair was a mess, he ran his hand through it in a slow motion, Minji held her breath. The dying sun lye array of purples, pinks, blues and oranges against his tanned skin. Only making him look more handsome than he already was in that moment.

Minji involuntarily traced her lips with her tongue as he stared in her direction, she glanced down at the table unable to face the hot employee that was only 10 feet from her.

He rolled his tongue in a smirk, poking his inner cheek as he looked down with a quiet chuckle. The boy was bold, overconfident. He saw the woman with the soft/delicate features of one who spent most of her time hiding from boys like him, he knew he could play with her easily.

Minji tried to collect herself as she glanced at her phone once more, avoiding further interactions with the boy behind the counter. Her phone read 5:54. She groaned lowly to herself as she pressed her thumb to her phone, unlocking it.

Her phone opened revealing a group picture of Minji and her friends as her background as she went straight to the message app. She clicked on Jimin's name and began to type her enraged text.

Minj💋:
'Where the fuck are you?!😤😡'

Before she could send it however Minji felt the booth she sat in shake, her "organized" papers and folders falling to the ground. She pulled her headphones from her ears and rolled her eyes seeing a small blonde head pop up from the opposite side.
