Edward Kenway x Child Reader

" Sorry Snow, I really forget about you being in my bag." He jumped up and down showing that it was alright. " Thank you for forgiving me now----" you were interrupted by a familiar voice yelling and shouting.

" Y/N, where are you? Come out!!...... Let's split up to cover more area."

You turned and caught a sight of the blue robes of Edward walking your direction. You gasped and looked down to your rabbit. " Snow up!!" He jumped up and caught him and was about to run before he could see you, but you were too late because Edward spotted you. " Oi, Y/N come her!!" You stuck out your tongue and said " If you want me, catch me!!" And with that you ran as fast as possible. Edward followed behind you.

You looked behind and noticed that Edward was so close to you, so you took the most dangerous decision for a child in your age. You ran inside the tavern which was filled with pirates. A man with a long black beard spotted you and signaled to you to come and of course being curious you obeyed.

" What are you doing here, lass?" Asked the man. You looked at the door and then back at him.

" Can you help hide?" You asked out of blue, making the man confused. " Pleeeeease!?" You gave him your best puppy eyes while holding your pet close to you. He sighed and looked around the tavern then back to you, he couldn't resist how much you needed his help.

" Alright then, hide under my table and don't move until I give you a signal to leave, okay?" You nodded and hide under the table in front of his legs. " I don't know lass, but you remind me of someone! Did I happened to see you somewhere cause you seem familiar?" You shrugged your shoulders and kept quiet.

Then you heard someone came in the tavern. You saw two feet walking toward the table you were hiding under and heard the voice you never wanted to hear.

" Hey Thatch......did..... you happened to.... see a girl came...... here?" Edward asked between the pants. You wanted to badly laugh, but you had to be quiet if you didn't want him to catch you.

" Hello to you too Edward....." The man whose name is Thatch said fazed. "...and no, I didn't see any girl came here." He finished as he too a big sip of his drink. " Who is this girl you're looking for, hm?"

" She is Kidd's daughter and she ran away from the ship a while ago." Edward said, making Thatch choke.

" Lad you need to find her or else Kidd will have your head!!" Thatch said, faking a terrified look. He knew about you being James Kidd's daughter, but you didn't know him since Kidd wanted you to be away from the pirates.

" I know!! Anyway, if you happened and saw her, bring her to me or send me anyone." Thatch nodded and Edward left the tavern.

" You can come out now lass!!" You came out of your hiding place still holding your rabbit. " Thank you sir for helping me!! " you said with a big smile. Thatch laughed out loud and the petted your head.

" You're welcome young lass....." he laughed a bit more " I can't believe you make that idiot run around Nassau to find you." You smiled slyly at him" I can do worst!!" Was all you said " You need to leave before he comes back here." You nodded and ran out of the tavern, leaving Thatch watching you with amazed expression. " Well, I think she will have a bright future." He chuckled and continued what he was doing.

The rest of the day went with out Edward catching you. He and his crewmen walked back to Jackdaw, and oh god he was about to kill himself.

" Shit shit shit, I'm gonna die today I'm sure!! Kidd will kill me!!" Edward said, pacing back and forth. " Captain calm down, we still have time before Kidd comes back!!" Edéwale said. " we need to research again before Kidd knows about what happened!!"

" Know about what Kenway?" Kidd suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Edward tensed.

" Excuse me Captain Kenway!!" Edéwale walked away, leaving Edward to deal with the storm.

James walked toward Edward and crossed his arms " Well Kenway, Where's Y/N?" The blond haired pirate panicked a bit, but then he cleared his throat. " Well..... Um Y/N..... she.... she is..ah!?" He somehow couldn't form the words properly since Kidd raised an eyebrow suspiciously at him.

" Edward, where is my daughter?" Kidd asked with venom in his voice. Edward took a deep breath that he thought it will be his last breath in his life. " Look Kidd I really didn't mean what happened, I was a bit busy!! The thing is, Y/N was playing on the ship the she suddenly disappe-----!!"

" DADDY!?"

" WHAT!?"

All of the crewmembers even Edward gasped at the same time when they saw you ran to your father/mother for a hug. There was some of the men in the ship, but they didn't see you sneak into Edward's cabin.

" I missed you Daddy." You said innocently making Kidd chuckle. " Me too princess...... so Edward what were you saying?" Edward shook his head and said " No, nothing at all!!?" He said with a hint of surprise, you looked at him and smiled innocently yet devilishly.

" How was Y/N with you? Did she make a fuss around?" James asked, holding you up in his arms. " She was a good girl!! She was quiet and lovely." The jaws of the men in the ship dropped open as they saw their Captain's lie." Very well then, I must leave her more with you then, don't you agree Y/N?"

" Yes!?"

" NO!!" All the men including Edward yelled

" Calm down I was kidding!! Okay then, let's go Y/N." With that you left the ship, but before you could fully leave the ship, you waved to the men and smiled slyly at Edward.

One of the crewmembers walked toward Edward and said " Captain, why didn't you tell him about what she did?" Edward hit the man in the head " Are you serious? He I won't tell him that his daughter left the ship!! He will blame me!! We need to keep this as a secret okay lads." And all of them nodded.

Mary walked with you in her arms, she smirked and said " Did you do what I told you?" You looked around to make sure that there was no one would hear you calling him mom and thankfully there was no one around.

" Yes mommy!! I did everything." She smiled " Very good, I'm so proud of you." She said and you hugged her. " I love you mommy!?" You said happily " I love you too my princess."

" This is what you get when you steal my weapons Kenway." Mary thought to herself as she chuckled.

Mary:- * Walks away *.... I will be back.

Me:- I have a bad feelings about this.

Edward:- * Slams the door *..... Found ya!!

Me:- * Yelling *..... MARY!!!

Oh God!! He will never leave me alone.
