Honestly, I haven't watched it but I know some things about the show. I've only seen one episode and you may know what it is.
I watched Crossover Nexus, which aired back in October. I watched it since Garnet was in it and I was totally in for a treat because (spoiler) we've got to see a CAMEO of characters from old Cartoon Network shows and other CN shows, which takes us back into memory lane. AND it's the Cartoon Network city.
The heroes that were to be turned into stone were KO, Garnet, Ben 10, along with one of Ben's Four Arms, and Raven (yeah, you heard me, Raven of Teen Titans Go!).
I definitely recommend watching Crossover Nexus. And you don't really need to watch the other shows to watch the crossover episode.
Back on the topic on the series possible end, Steven is now the last one standing from this era of Cartoon Network.
Now I am a little sad. Well it is sadly the way things are.
