"Aww.. I forgot the snacks in the car..."
it seemed like he was trying to act super upset, but Y/n could see the smug look on his face.
What was he planning?
Clay didn't seem to mind though, he smiled softly as he looked off into the sky.
"That's alright, we don't necessarily need them."
He calmly replied, seeming like he was catching on to Apollo's strange behaviour as well.
"Uh.. yeah we do. A woman once told me that snacks are the key to happiness."
There was a short moment of silence,
"... what?"
".... what I'm trying to say is that we need snacks, alright? Nowyoutwohavefunbye!-"
He quickly yelled out as he was basically already quite a distance away from the other two.
Now it was just Y/n and clay.
He seemed a little stunned before he laughed a little, Y/n beginning to laugh too afterwards.
"Well that was strange.."
Y/n said through laughter, clay nodding in agreement.
"Yeah, sure was."
He looked up at the sky again, he seemed disappointed.
Y/n noticed his upset look from the corner of her eye.
"Is something wrong?"
"... yeah."
Y/n quickly turned to face him, she knew something was up! And now was her chance to find out.
"What is it!?"
She fiercely asked. clay looked over at her, shock written on his face from the sudden outburst before he sadly sighed and said.
"I can't exactly say.. but uh... I'm waiting for something to happen, and it's not happening.."
He murmured. A bunch of thoughts flashed through Y/n's mind.
This probably had to be about this exciting thing that was about to happen.
"What do you mean by something?"
Clay pondered for a quick moment, before he softly laughed and leaned back on the bench with his arms crossed.
"I don't have to tell you yet."
".... come on clay!"
"Fine fine!"
Y/n payed full attention to clay, she could tell he was thinking about what to say exactly before he got it.
"Um, well.. the stars... right. I know it's probably annoying that I take you two with me to do something you both probably don't enjoy doing."
"What do you mean? I like it and I'm sure Apollo does too."
"Heh, well... today something really cool is supposedly gonna happen..."
"Yeah, that's what you keep saying."
Clay looked down and trembled, he seemed like he was fighting back a lot of anxiety. He closed his eyes, and very quietly croaked out.
