After those words came out, there was a strong tension.
Apollo's eyes were wide as he tried to process what he had just heard, he looked over at y/n.
her face glowed a bright red as she clutched the device in her hands.
"... w-what?"
Y/n's mind was racing, how could she explain herself? She couldn't even think clearly and it seemed like she wasn't gonna be able to come up with an excuse while being so flustered.
"U-Umm.... the, uh thing... is"
Her pace quickened, trying to get back to the office without embarrassing herself again.
"Let's hurry! Everyones probably wondering where we are!"
Apollo watched Y/n's actions, her gaze was kept on the concrete below and she seemed very shaky all of a sudden.
Was she ashamed? Did that little device give an accurate statement of how she felt?
He was dying to know,
the shy attorney caught up and grabbed her by the arm,
"Wait... I-is that the secret you were hiding from me?"
She turned around to face Apollo, this was killing her on the inside, couldn't he see she wasn't in the mood to be interrogated?
Y/n kind of gave him a quick glare, she turned around not wanting to show too much emotion.
"I'm sorry, I don't want to talk right now."
She stated in a monotone voice, Apollo was taken aback from this sudden shift of emotion and he let go. Keeping his distance to respect her wishes.
Y/n walked towards the entrance and pushed open the door.
Athena, the girl who had gotten her into this terrible mess, was sitting calmly on the couch reading a book with trucy. Her head perked up when she heard the sound of the door clicking open.
"Ooh! Y/n just in ti..."
Y/n quickly marched up to her and placed the device back into her hands.
"I should of never agreed to taking care of this! Y-your little device ruined my day.. m-my life even!"
"H-huh? What happened?.. I'm sure you're just being over dramatic..."
Y/n bit her lip as tears formed in her eyes, she turned away from Athena to hide this.
her behaviour was already setting athena off, she was suddenly really worried.
in the corner of her eye she saw how Apollo came in looking strange and unsure.
"APOLLO!"
She stood up and stomped over to him, this had to be his fault!
"What did you do!?"
"I-I didn't do anything!"
"Yeah right! oh I swear your gonna pay for this you stupid!-"
Phoenix noticed all this commotion and he being a responsible adult, went over to stop Athena from killing Apollo for no reason.
This was pretty interesting though, he never witnessed so much office drama at once.
