I can imagine an au where Makoto and Junko meet before going to hope's peak and Makoto making her choose a different path where she's not a shsl thot and ends the world-
I mean, if anyone could change Junko for the better it'd be the hope egg right?
I also like this ship symbolically if that makes sense?? Makoto is the ultimate hope and Junko is the ultimate despair, so in a way they're opposites but at the same time they have some similar qualities??
