It actually used to be my otp, but it's not anymore. Still, I love it a lot.
The reason I don't otp it anymore is bc, if you think about it, their relationship wouldn't be completely healthy.
And no, I'm not talking about Kokichi being unhealthy for Himiko. I actually think he would be great for her, since he could make her open up and be more honest with herself.
But, imo, it wouldn't be healthy for Kokichi. He needs someone he can learn to trust, someone who he can be honest with and can get him to open up. That person isn't Himiko, let's face it.
Himiko refuses to believe that Kokichi is actually a good person under that lying facade, which is shown when she says that there's no way he was being honest when he told Kaito that he actually hated the killing game. Which would make it nearly impossible for Kokichi to open up to her.
I honestly really love it romantically anyways, but I love it more platonically. They'd be adorable besties.
