-Ashton's POV-

I knew what was under all those bracelets and I wanted to help that girl. I didn't know who she was but I saw her again in art class.

She sat next to me again.

The teacher explained how we had to draw who was on our minds right now. I debated in my head wether to draw the girl or not. I decided I would.

I could see her already starting to draw the eyes. I looked at her face every now and then until she caught me.

"Why are you drawing me?" She asked.

Her eyes squinted.

"Do I know you?" She asked again.

"Yes, I was the one who asked about your pretty bracelets yesterday." I replied.

She nodded.

"What's your name?" She asked.

"Ashton, and yours?" I replied.

"Amanda." She smiled.

"Now, why are you drawing me?" She asked continuing her drawing.

"Because, you've been on my mind lately." I replied.

"And why is that?" She pressed on.

I wanted to answer 'Because I know what goes on under those bracelets' but that would be quite rude.

She looked up at me from her picture and raised an eyebrow waiting for me to answer.

"Why are you drawing me?" She repeated.

"B-because I think you're really pretty." I stuttered looking away.

She didn't answer and I couldn't hear her pencil.

-Amanda's POV-

"B-because I think you're really pretty." He answered and looked away.

What? How could he think I'm pretty? Me? Nobody's ever called me pretty before. Wait... This could be one Audrey's tricks.

"No you don't." I said returning to the picture of my brother.

"Why don't you believe me?" He chuckled.

"B-because you might be one of Audrey's tricks." I replied honestly.

He stared at me. I knew it. I'd found out so easily and I'm not falling for it. I scoffed and shook my head.

"I knew it. Get away from me you creep." I spat.

"I'm-" the bell interrupted our conversation.

I instantly stood up and grabbed my things and walked away.

"Wait Amanda," I heard Ashton call and he grabbed my wrist causing a few of my bracelets to fall.

He stared at my wrists.

I picked up the bracelets and ran away beginning to cry. I ran outside the school and Ashton was following close behind me.

I stopped at the back of the school because Ashton had grabbed my wrist.

"Amanda!" He shouted.

"What do you want?!" I screamed.

"Why do you do that to yourself?" He asked.

I stared at him and slipped the bracelets back on.

"Because I'm ugly." I replied.

His eyes went wide.

"I'm a bitch, I have no friends, I don't deserve to live." I said sobbing.

"Who ever told you that?" Ashton asked.

"Whoever sent you here to play around with me." I replied.

"Nobody sent me." Ashton said he was dead serious and it was making me nervous.

"Look, I have serious trust issues okay? So you'd better stop. If you tell that bitch Audrey, you can go fuck yourself while watching me jumping off a fucking building." I spat harshly.

I then walked away leaving Ashton there in confusion. He didn't even know half the things that were going on in my life.

This was just another day of meeting a depressed girl to Ashton, but to me, it was just another day I was actually alive.
