I rush through the hospital door. Nobody here.

Except Hunter's lying in his bed again.

I get worried.

I quickly walk over by his bed.

His eyes are open, and he's smiling up at me.

He sits up, with a teensy weeny bit of difficulty.

"I missed you," I whisper, sitting on his lap and throwing my hands around his neck.

He runs his hand through my newly curled hair.

"How long's it been?" Hunter's voice is a bit wheezy, but Hunter's voice nonetheless.

"Two months," I nuzzle his neck.

He puts his arm around my waist, tracing kisses up my neck. "I've been out for two months?"

He looks at me with his intense brown eyes.

I look at him with my soft emerald ones.

"I missed you so, so, sooooo much," I whisper into his ear.

I press my lips onto his, wrapping my legs around his waist.

Hunter breathes deeply.

"Ashlynn... can't... breathe."

I let go, and he grabs an inhaler from the end table.

I'm so jealous. He's kissing the inhaler.

Instead of me.

"Okay. How about we start with... peanut butter!" I say the next morning.

Hunter hands me the peanut butter and I scrape it all into the empty bowl, throwing the jar into the trash can.

"This is going to be," Hunter grins, "the best dare smoothie ever!"

I laugh.

You know dare smoothies, the ones where you put whatever you can in a blender (which hasn't been invented yet) and dare someone (or prank someone) with it.

"Fish."

"Meatballs."

"Cherries."

"Icing Sugar."

"More! More icing sugar! BAHAHAHAAAAAA! Make it nice and thick!"

"Milk."

"Bread."

"Strawberries."

"Pickles."

"Onions."

"Chili. Cinnamon. Salt."

"Lemon Juice."

"Bananas."

"Should I peel them?" Hunter asks.

"Nah. Pass the chicken while you're at it."

"Good?" I ask.

"I think it needs a little ice cream," Hunter suggests.

"Yeah, yeah I thought so too."

I add ice cream, and mash everything with a fork.

Then I share it into 10 glasses.

Kinda looks like milk.

If milk was reddish-greenish-bluish?

Nope, pretty sure it's purplish-yellowish-orangish.

Is it changing colors?

"Is it changing colors?" Hunter asks, examining the drinks.
