Nobody had ever known of the secret love between the immortal wolf goddess and the king of werewolves. Their union resulted in a son. They both loved him dearly and named him Perseus. However nobody could ever know about this. They both pretended to hate each other and raised their son in secret. Yet something happened that changed Lycaon's feelings towards Lupa.

He began to resent her and tried to take their son away from her. However Lupa did not want him to take their son and raise him to be a killer. So she  sought out Artemis or more accurately her roman form Diana. She entrusted her with the 4 month old pup. Then she led her once beloved's pack off his trail almost sacrificing herself in the process.

That's how he began to be known as Percy Jackson, the immortal werewolf /god son of Lupa and Lycaon. However Artemis blessed him and took him in as one of her own. One day Poseidon found the young pup by the beach, giggling and wading in the shallow areas of the water. He took a liking to him and blessed him. With Artemis's knowledge of course.

Years passes by and the little tyke's fourth birthday rolled around. They had a celebration at the beach where all the hunters and gods gathered. They were angry with Lupa to sire a son without their knowledge and she was punished by being forced to remain in the wolf house for about 15 years. But they could not bring themselves to harm the little pup. He was just too innocent. They were unaware of his father since Lupa refused to tell them and even Lycaon didn't make it known. Percy only remembered a bit about his parents. He learned how to turn into a boy and back and learned the ways of the humans.

After many hours late into the night, Poseidon stood up. "I would like to make an announcement. Since it is unknown who Percy's father is, i will take it upon myself to claim him as my adoptive son." The other gods nodded, even Zeus who didn't seem to like the idea very much. Percy had been listening to it next to Zoë who was like an older sister to him.

Then Poseidon turned his palm towards  Percy and began chanting in ancient Greek. Percy fell over, fast asleep. Artemis rushed to him and scooped him in her arms. He was tiny in his human form so she was able to carry him with ease.

"He shall wake up in the morning, but I must warn you that he will have a lot of power." After that  the gods dispersed and the campers retired to their tents. Percy usually slept with the other wolves of the hunters outside but that night Artemis decided that just for once he could sleep next to her.

She smiled at the little boy and ran her fingers through his messy black hair. He was like her son since Lupa was not allowed to see him for quite a while. She knew about his father but the roman goddess trusted her with the secret so she had not said a word about it to anyone.

The boy whined and began kicking his legs as if running. Then without warning he turned into a wolf pup. Artemis smiled. He often turned when he had a dream about running. She turned off the light and lay in her bed falling asleep almost instantly.

A/N
I know it's short. I just got this idea and decided to write it since there aren't many other stories like this. If you haven't check out my other story Rise of a New Era. I know that neither of these stories are very great but I try my best. I will try to update at least once a week. Hope you liked the beginning.
