  "I love it" Richie told Eddie, with a huge, genuine smile. Eddie immediately looked more relaxed. He let out a breath he didn't know he was holding. He was relieved that Richie didn't hate the gift he put a lot of thought into. Eddie sat down on his soft, fluffy bed next to Richie.
   Eddie turned to face Richie, admiring his best friend's beauty. Richie turned and saw what little space was between him and Eddie. Richie subconsciously leaned forward a little bit and kissed Eddie on his pink, soft lips. He then pulled back before Eddie had a chance to kiss back, realizing what he had just done. He didn't see Eddie's blush or the way his eyes were filled with love for the tall, curly headed boy.
  "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that. I should go home. Thanks for the presents! See you later, if you don't hate me" Richie said, he was mentally kicking himself. I probably just messed up our friendship. Even if I didn't it won't be the same. Richie thought. He regretted kissing Eddie. He didn't regret the kiss, both boys couldn't have asked for a better first kiss. He regretted that the kiss was more than likely going to make their friendship awkward.
